2018 年4月17日星期二 文||止懐 也许我们这一生都没办法错过《圣诞快乐，劳伦斯先生》。兜兜转转，命运始终会让这部影片与你相遇。 其实有些电影，我们没有必要完全看懂。看不懂就看不懂，也许以后你就懂了。 于我个人而言，谈到《圣诞快乐，劳伦斯先生》，就不得不从坂本龙一说起。他的配乐《Rain》在《末代皇帝》中给了我很大地震撼。进而我才从音乐软件的推荐曲目之中，听到了《圣诞快乐，劳伦斯先生》的主题曲。这几天我的手机就一直在循环播放《Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence》。而这首纯音乐，就像充满了魔力一般，越听就越使我好奇，这样的乐曲背后到底讲述了一个怎样的故事呢？于是我才去观影。 我不确定自己是否真地看懂了劳伦斯先生。很多人也许是冲着同性这个话题去看剧情，也不可避免会被人们拿来做噱头。不可否认，同性确实是电影里的一个隐藏的主线。可是我们在观看之余，也不妨关注影片中关于人性的思考。 当原著小说送到这部电影的编剧面前时，他说 “这个剧本很难读懂，里面涉及到太多极端暴力的东西，故事内容又太过晦涩。”可是这些又丝毫不影响它成为一部好片子。 如果想要更加清楚地知道影片的主题，自然要从解题开始。谁是劳伦斯先生？为什么要讲圣诞快乐呢？看完之后，也许你就能找到答案。 里面有些沉重的因素，是我无法用言语表达出来的。或是关于爱情，关于友情，关于战争。看着这一部片子，你会感到心情沉重，会被影片沉重的色调所感染。随着被俘虏的士兵的情感，一切都只能听天由命，可是在影片燥热的天气里，似乎又隐藏着某些不安分的因子。 “Homosexual”译为同性恋者。柏拉图在《会饮篇》里面，有一个这样的情节:在希腊神话里，每一个人都是被劈开成两半的一个不完整的个体，终其一生在寻找另一半，却不一定能找到。”这便是古希腊对同性恋的解释。 我们很难去定义这个词。有谁能够坚定地宣称自己就绝对是异性恋？只是在社会的秩序里，我们没有机会去突破自己而已。以前的我以为这个世上只有男人和女人之分，可是活到现在，才渐渐发现，世界远比我们想得丰富而复杂地多。 谈回影片。故事是发生在二战历史的背景之下。我不是特别了解那一段历史，如果我对此历史多加了解，相信将更加有助于我解读这部影片。 影片由于杰克的到来，打破了俘虏营的平衡，最后又以杰克和世野的死，来达到某种平衡。 这里有两条主线，世野（坂本龙一饰）与杰克（大卫·鲍伊饰）、原（北野武饰）和劳伦斯。按照我个人的理解，世野和杰克，是个人情感抑制之下的爱情，世野比杰克更加陷入这种困扰；原和劳伦斯，是在战争的特殊环境下，共生互利而又扭曲难得的友情。 世野对杰克无疑是一见钟情。从审判时，世野对杰克的眼神和动作就可以看出。而杰克，是在后知后觉之中，才发现这种暗藏的情愫。观众总喜欢探讨里面的感情线，又或许里面的情感表现地过于含蓄，才会让人不断注意影片中能够体现的点点滴滴，比如世野救下了本该判死刑的杰克，不断说一定要军医医好他的病，又向劳伦斯询问他是一个怎样的人，甚至不知不觉中送他毯子。用那个勤务兵的话来说，这个男人扰乱了世野的心。 原是很粗暴的一个人，他对待俘虏，就像对待动物一般。而劳伦斯，因为精通日语，了解日本文化，能够和日方沟通，所以成为一个联络官兼军医的角色。当然，俘虏就是俘虏，所以原对待劳伦斯，该打的时候，一样在打，根本不会考虑到他们平时的交情。可是一到某些时刻，他们又好像是老朋友一番，能够共同探讨一些问题，甚至说，他们之间有商量的余地。 能够把细节很好的展示给观众的导演，才是一个功力到位的好导演，才是值得观众敬佩的导演。无疑，这部影片就带给了我们很多细节的思考。 （一）影片开头，就有日军审判杰克的场景。我们可以从画面当中，欣赏到世野头上的帽子印记。肤色对比尤为明显，不知是导演有意为之，还是在片场的拍摄过程中，受拍摄环境的影响，被阳光晒出来的印记。 （二）年老的英国指挥官对劳伦斯的讽刺，虽然只有简短的对话，我们也能从中感受到这里应该是话中有话。指挥官问劳伦斯是在哪里受教育，劳伦斯回答“温切斯特”。而指挥官脸上的笑容，却令人意味深长。 ( 三)世野吩咐原去修建飞机场，递给原一根烟，镜头还特地给那只烟一个特写。烟的上面印有一朵菊花的图案。美国人类学家就写过《菊与刀》这一本书，分析过在日本文化里“菊”是日本皇家家徽，“刀”是武士道文化的象征。也许世野是在告诉原，同时也是在告诉自己，不要忘记自己的身份。从而促使世野下定狠心如果不说出专家，就要把所有的俘虏都拿出来射杀掉。他内心的军国主义又充斥了他的头脑。 ( 四)最后一幕，原和劳伦斯在狱中最后相遇，监狱的色彩也给人以震撼。原已经能够简单地说英语了，不再是用日语与劳伦斯交谈。说明了日军的失败英军的胜利。这样一种身份的交换，又怎能不让人产生一种“风水轮流转”之感。 困惑1：日本勤务兵为了帮助世野去除这个心魔，伺机刺杀杰克。可是在看守不肯给他钥匙的时候，居然对同伴下手。这么极端的场面，有必要把同伙杀死吗？都是站在同一立场的日本人，还不至于到死的程度吧。 困惑2：杰克为什么要在逃跑的时候，还带着世野给他准备的毯子？并亲了毯子。这种行为算是与世野作最后的告别吗？ 困惑3：世野的勤务兵切腹自尽后的葬礼现场，劳伦斯在被一个士兵拉住时候，为什么那个士兵会如此伤心，观众都可以看见他脸上的泪水？也许那个勤务兵是那个士兵的好朋友吧。 困惑4：对于杰克回忆起自己和弟弟的童年记忆，一开始我不是特别懂他这一段影片呈现的含义。直到看到编剧的解说，我们可以将这种出现的原因归结于宗教因素，那么就比较好理解了。联想到杰克基督徒的身份，由于他当年对弟弟的愧疚，按照基督徒的信念，杰克最终是要受到惩罚的。而惩罚他的后果就是让他爱上男人。 困惑5：一开始杰克在知道自己就快要枪毙时候，曾经透露过自己有一个妻子，以及一儿一女。可是在影片最后，又有一个细节透露出，他已经三十二岁了，却仍旧孤生一人。其实我们也可以推导出，在得知自己死亡之前，杰克只是把自己的未来想象的如此美好，不至于在日军面前，那么凄凉的死去。而在狱中和劳伦斯的探讨中，又触碰到了自己深藏于心的愧疚，把真正的原因抛露出来。呈现一个真实而完整的杰克。 （一）杰克对世野的吻的含义——救赎 杰克的内心一直对弟弟事件有一个心结，所以当他发现世野也面临这种选择时，杰克选择勇敢地站出来，替之前自己对弟弟所犯的过错进行赎罪，同时也是救赎世野，帮助他摆脱现在的困境。因为杰克看出来了，世野已经被逼疯了，他无处安放自己内心的情感，就把这种愤怒牵扯到指挥官身上，加上指挥官之前迟迟不肯告诉他到底有多少专家藏在军队里面，世野认为他们都在骗他，认为这些所谓的病号，都是装出来的。他要打破之前美好的形象，他要做回之前的世野，不能再继续沉陷在这段感情之中。至此，杰克已经将生死置之度外，他已经不再想后果是怎样的了。所以，杰克对世野的吻，一方面，令世野觉得解脱，可是后来他却感到羞耻愤怒而倒了下去。如果杰克不是当着全部人的面这样做，那么世野又会作何反应呢？ （二）关于人性的探讨 首先，最大的转变莫过于原，他是第一个出场也是最后一个出场的主人公。在圣诞节前夜，不管他是故意喝醉，还是真的喝醉了，反正他做出释放劳伦斯和杰克两人的决定。或许他根本不懂西方圣诞老人的含义，可是唯有在醉的那一刻，他想要做一个人，一个被人们感激的人。只是嘴里不断说着：“I am Father Christmas tonight(我今晚就是圣诞公公)”最后，原笑得有多开心，多真诚，你就越能感受到战争为人们心灵带来的扭曲改变。笑得越开心，我们却越感到伤心、挣扎。 其次，世野对杰克的爱，就是世野在人性和武士道精神之间不断徘徊、纠结，最后人性战胜武士道的结果。 世野对杰克一见钟情，他被杰克俊朗的外表与无畏的精神所吸引。身为俘虏，杰克能够做到视死如归。为此，他时时关注杰克的病情，找劳伦斯了解杰克是一个怎样的人。可是世野的内心是很纠结的，在一个不认可同性恋的环境，自己身为日军上校，既然触犯了这条禁忌。所以才会在初期，不断练习刀术，借助一声声怒吼，才能压抑自己内心不安的情绪。 可是这样下去，也不能解决问题，所以他选择杀鸡儆猴的方式，做出对开头的朝鲜文员切腹的决定。并且特意强调把杰克也带到现场。他本想就此一刀两段。然而英国士兵德容咬舌自尽死后，反倒更加激发了杰克带领那群英国俘虏进行精神和行为上的抗拒。 尽管如此，世野还是每天借着巡逻的机会，来看狱中的杰克。甚至送了他一床毯子。世野也是很矛盾吧。 原好意释放了杰克和劳伦斯，世野却再也不能忍受这种折磨了。他一次次的向自己强调自己是天皇的人，就像前面提到的菊花图案的预示。 当他准备杀死指挥官时，杰克径直向他走了过来，他慌了，他不希望他做出任何举动，因为这样世野就不能保护他了。所以一直说：“你！快回去！回去！”。直到杰克亲吻了他的脸夹，他才感受到无法解释的痛苦，里面混合了喜悦、愤怒、羞耻、无奈。一切都结束了。 在杰克埋在土里的时候，世野并没有救助杰克，所以他唯一能做的只是割下一撮杰克的头发，并向杰克敬了一个军礼。 战败之后的世野，在生命终结的那一刻，终于可以放下自己身上的包袱，请求劳伦斯将杰克的头发带回他的故乡，这是多么浪漫的情节。影片甚至都不表现世野的最后结局，只是通过劳伦斯的话语来告诉观众。世野已经被处死了。 再次，英军的士兵，即使是成为俘虏之后，并没有对日本表现出绝对的服从。对日军的态度，也是非常的傲慢。有时候都让我们觉得，他们并不是俘虏。因为他们坚信“成为俘虏只是时间上的问题”。他们无法认同日军的武士道精神，认为这是一种无人性的做法。所以，在勤务兵的葬礼上，劳伦斯发出自己的怒吼，对日本人无情切腹的某些没有人性的行为进行批判。劳伦斯把他们的无情，冷血归结于：“是你们的神不好，是他们让你们如此冷血。”也体现了影片对日本武士道精神的批判，对人性的呼吁。 最后，影片有一处非常和谐的场面，原、世野、劳伦斯一起站在监狱的外围，仿佛他们只是出来谈话的老友，这里没有战争、没有俘虏之分。如果不是战争，也许大家都在各自的国度，过着美好的生活。世野甚至说出这样一番话：“该是怎样的美事，要是我可以邀请你们所有人，到故乡的樱花树下赏花饮酒。”这一幅美好的想象，即使是在这样一个环境之中，也增添了几分人性的东西。人，不是生来就是坏人，如果不是战争，也许现在他们，就是站在樱花脚下，赏花饮酒。 战争、暴力、注定是毁灭式的悲剧。劳伦斯说的对，有时候胜利是很沉重的。我们不能原谅原和世野这样的人在战争中的那些残酷的所作所为，可是我们要从中获得一种叫人性的东西。所谓人性，就是在所有人都失去理智的时候，你还能保持自己，并用自己的理性，去拯救他人。

　　根据英国作家劳伦斯（Laurens Van Der Post）的真人真事小说《种子与播种者》（Seed and the Sower）改编的电影《圣诞快乐，劳伦斯先生》（Merry Christmas,Mr Lawrence），又译《俘虏》，讲述1942年在印度尼西亚爪哇岛日军战俘集中营对残暴的军国主义、不可一世的民族主义、懦弱的武士道精神都进行了反思和否定；对正义、自由和博爱的向往和讴歌的故事。　　残酷的日军队长原上士在圣诞之夜，因同性恋之谊释放了英军战俘劳伦斯和杰克，并对其说了一声“劳伦斯，圣诞快乐。”（Merry Christmas,Mr Lawrence）四年后的圣诞节，战争结束不久劳伦斯在狱中又见到了原上士，两人现在身份互换，不觉感慨万千。当劳伦斯离去之前，原上士再次向劳伦斯说了一声：“圣诞快乐，劳伦斯先生！”　　关于音乐：　　《Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence》这首曲子是坂本龙一为大岛渚的同名电影谱写的，是他电影配乐的处女作，也是他最经典的作品之一。电影原声中同时收录坂本龙一与前JAPAN乐团主唱David Sylvian合作的歌曲版，但被命名为《Forbidden Colours》，如诗般的歌词配以空灵婉转的旋律，不禁使人身心涤荡。　　网络乐评：　　《Merry Christmas,Mr. Lawrence》大抵算得坂本龙一的传世绝唱（这也是一个人一辈子里不可回避的一首歌，如果你没有听过，那你的生命也死掉了四分之一），美丽琴音里流淌着生命永远无法选择的宿命的悲剧感，对人性纯粹的追求与矜持，对异样情欲的纠缠与否认，对真理信念的盲目与回避...所有这些有时沉重得无以承受，有时又是那般虚弱无力，孰对孰不对的选择更是令人应接不暇、心力交瘁。当面对死去的人们只留下或深或浅的记忆，所有生命的美丽化作一句"圣诞快乐"，然后满天飞舞起洁白的雪花，飘落这世间每个干净与不干净的角落。

有人说，坂本龙一的Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence是一个人一辈子不可回避的一首曲子，如果你没有听过，那你的生命也死掉了四分之一。所以我听了这首曲子，因为即使对于自然来说人类好像并没有什么意义，但没有意义或许也是自然的一种规律，也算是个意义吧，我不想让那四分之一死掉。 教授的这首为电影《战场上的快乐圣诞》而作的音乐，却没有战场上的硝烟也没有圣诞的快乐，有的只是灵魂碰撞时产生的火花。在没有看电影之前听到这首曲子只觉空灵如天籁，那些音符像小精灵般跃入心间，在那里翩翩起舞，从心灵深处仿佛有一汪清泉流出，润泽了灵魂。在影片里每当真实的人性显露时这首曲子就会响起，仿佛那些小精灵也悄悄地潜进了剧中人物的心里，于是有什么东西开始裂开了。 影片《战场上的快乐圣诞》简单说来就是讲述了1942年在二战炮火下，日军在南洋的爪哇岛热带雨林中的一所战俘营中，一位日本军官倾慕一位英军战俘所产生的东西方文化的碰撞以及情感碰撞的故事。该片于1983年5月上映，由大岛渚导演，由坂本龙一饰演日军上尉与野井，David Bowie饰演英军战俘Jack Celliers ，北野武饰演日军中士 原上士。在日本传统的武士道精神和军国主义的影响下，每个日本人早已没有了个体，他们身心都属于天皇，以“从容赴死”为荣，以“残喘苟活”为耻。而以Jack Celliers所代表的西方自由主义，以人为本，在他们眼中生命高于一切，而死亡成了逃避的懦夫行为。所以当压抑克己，眉眼如画举手投足间一丝不苟犹如尊神一般的与野遇到自由反叛美艳不可方物的Jack后，与野那颗被武士道精神层层冰封的心被Jack湛蓝的双眼划出一道裂痕。与野救下了Jack将他送到爪哇的战俘营，鬼使神差的对Jack照顾有加，这一系列的情不自禁也被旁人看在眼里，就连与野的警卫官也因Jack扰乱了与野的心志而感到惶恐不安，因为作为上尉的与野就是武士道精神，他不容许这座精神堡垒溃堤，所以他去刺杀Jack。而当Jack 违抗与野修行的命令后，当着与野的面吃下红花时，与野心上的那道裂痕被加深了。与野说Jack是恶灵，David Bowie的那双异色妖瞳看上去的确是吃花的恶灵，他吃了花，也啃噬了与野的心。心上无法忽视的裂痕，那座精神堡垒已摇摇欲坠，于是他企图用残暴、冷酷来武装自己，努力压抑自己的内心，像所有的抗战片演绎的一样，与野将所有的战俘赶到操场上，用所有的武装对着他们。残暴、冷酷、嗜血这才是军国主义奉行的对待战俘的方式，因为在武士道精神里俘虏是可耻的，从容赴死才值得被尊敬，所以这些战俘不值得被礼遇，这样才是他应对对待这些战俘的态度，可是那个一身绿衣金发碧眼的恶灵穿过人群、越过武装，昂首挺胸骄傲地站到他面前，当着所有人的面拥吻了他，与野的心上的那层外壳被彻底击碎，那一汪清泉肆意流淌而出蔓延到四肢百骸，覆盖的冰霜被彻底消融，此时音乐再次响起亦如释放与野的那一吻。文化的碰撞，灵魂的释放让与野晕厥，这也是对于一切的回避。醒来后的与野在Jack死时割下Jack的一缕头发珍藏，并以军礼告别，Jack的肉体死了，可是与野的魂魄也随之被带走了。在影片里与野在战后被处死了，托Mr. Lawrence将那缕珍藏的头发带回与野日本的故乡，而在书里与野没有死，最后Mr. Lawrence将那缕头发归还了与野。我想导演认为死是对于与野最好的安排吧，这样才可以摆脱一切毫无顾忌地正视自己，获得灵魂的自由和Jack再度重逢。在影片里另一条线原上士对Lawrence说，如果你没有选择当俘虏我会更崇敬你，而Lawrence对原上士说，死才是逃避的懦夫行为。原上士又说，你们英国军人全都是同性恋，Lawrence回答是战争会加深战友之间的友谊。就是这样一种完全不同的两种文化，一个以死为荣，一个以生为荣；一个为集体而生，一个为自己而活。可日本人也是人，也会为压抑的内心感到痛苦，所以原上士也仅有在喝醉酒时暂时允许感性替代理性说出，Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence。北野武饰演的原上士用孩童一般的口吻说出Christmas Mr. Lawrence，而此时音乐再次响起，短暂涌现出的快乐，浮现的人性，让人随着北野武的演绎心里浮出伤感。在影片的结尾Lawrence再见到原上士时，他们的身份已调换，原上士剃了头挂上佛珠，学会了说英文，像是要去赴一趟远行一般地淡定从容，他问 Lawrence还记得那个圣诞节吗，Lawrence说，那天你喝醉了，原上士笑着说，我希望继续醉下去。最后他向Lawrence告了别，再次用孩童的口吻说出了Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence。随着音乐的响起全片结束。死亡对于原上士是解脱吧，灵魂终于可以不再被束缚不再是被压抑，终于可以完全享受自由了。看这部影片最先是冲着禁欲美颜的教授和异色妖瞳的宝爷去的，结果却被还未面瘫的北野武感动哭了。北野武一贯的那种如孩童般口吻的说话语气却不知道有何种魔力，总是让人笑着掉下泪来。 这部影片在豆瓣的评分8.8分，教授的那曲《Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence》功不可没让整部影片更丰满。 这首曲子也成为教授的代表作之一，教授一度为每次演出都被要求弹奏这首曲子而苦恼，可是后来也都释然了，这首曲子被大家接受喜爱，也不都是因为大家在这首曲子里找到了共鸣吗？这首曲子让剧中人物得以自由的同时，也让听这首曲子的每个人得到了心灵上的自由。
