SolitudeAeturnusSolitudeAeturnus是一支美国的Doom乐队。乐队一直以来在Doom界有良好的声誉，乐队的灵魂在于他的主唱RoberLowe就象是MessiahMarcolin一样使整个乐队充满了不可抗拒的魅力。中文名：亘古孤寂外文名：SolitudeAeturnus国籍：美国职业：乐队代表作品：《INTOSorrowofDepthsThe》《BEYONDTheHorizonCrimson》等风格：DoomMetal简介SolitudeAeturnus（亘古孤寂）——国内听众较为熟悉的一支美国的Doom乐队。乐队一直以来在Doom界有良好的声誉，是一支经久不衰的乐队，（但是好像在国内SolitudeAeturnus一直都是作为Doom首当其冲的代表性乐队，而在国外相对来说SolitudeAeturnus要略微偏后一些），乐队的风格明显偏重于经典Doom，就象让人敬重的Candlemass（圣烛节），对于任何一支名声很好并且伟大的乐队要写他们的资料则反而比较困难，而且SolitudeAeturnus还吸取了FatesWarning（heavy/epicmetal）乐队的一些progressivemetal（前卫金属）的精髓，乐队的灵魂在于他的主唱RoberLowe就象是MessiahMarcolin一样使整个乐队充满了不可抗拒的魅力，还有创建了Brainticket厂牌的乐队吉他手JohnPerez为每一个作品增添的冲击力。乐队历史不过在发行了〈Adagio〉之后乐队一直处于沉默状态。S.A.已经度过了九个春秋，但对于乐队的组建还是一件比较有趣的事情，这一推算要从80年吉他手JohnPerez说起，从1980年John就开始了极端音乐之旅！他买得第一张盘是Venom的，还买些Witchfynde，WitchfinderGeneral，Motorhead（摩托头），Holocaust什么的，所以很自然的John就比较深入早期的死亡金属，接触一些象Slayer（杀手），Bathory，Hellhammer，Venom的乐队。当时他想要组建的是一支类似CelticFrost的乐队，由于John非常喜爱那种糅合了极端重的Sabbath式的riffs与邪恶的thrash式的死亡速度！所以随之就出现了RottingCorpse。不过，在那时John没参与过多的音乐写作，而且做得大部分音乐都有些象早期的Exodus或者说是Metallica，这在当时是已经是John认为最好的乐队了。每次回想起当时的情景都会另他兴奋而且记忆犹新！而且RottingCorpse是当时Texas这片最早的thrash乐队，在1985年地下金属仍旧很隐秘的（甚至说在Texas当时都很少有人知道Slayer！）。几年后，John开始意识到他真正想做的音乐其实是那种更沉重的，更缓慢的音乐而且要赋有更多旋律的那种。经过一段时间的试验，SolitudeAeturnus就于1987年诞生了。当时的阵容与现在的截然不同。他们录制了一盘demo磁带，并且由Kingclassic公司稍微处理了一下，这盘demo磁带“JusticeForAll”，是一开始组队的时候John和一些完全不同的成员做的。那时，普遍的问题都是“你知道这与Metallica的那张专集的名字一样吗？”John一直表态其实乐队是在Metallica之前就写了这个名字，但可惜是在幕后，也可能是因为这盘5首歌的demo磁带没太多人知道的缘故。第一张demo中的头两首歌后来再也没有出现过，我也从来无缘听到，不光是我很多人都在寻找，大家在听过其它的之后都愈发的想知道第一张的样子，因为很多乐队的处女作都是最好的，正因为这个原因S.A.的成员总认为寻找这张demo的人比较可笑，当然为了理解乐迷的心情，还是可以从John或者他的唱片公司购买到，可惜我就无法听到了，所以还真是有些好奇。处女作后John一直在寻找合适的机会与人选一直到与Roadrunner签约并发行首张专辑《INTOSorrowofDepthsThe》，获得了听众极大程度的认可。在那之后，乐队看上去好像没什么动静，但实际上他们已经准备了足够的歌曲，等到Roadrunner公司一声“OK”后，他们马上开始制作另外一张专集了。为了第二张专辑《BEYONDTheHorizonCrimson》的发行，乐队还在92年与“PaulDianno"sKillers”乐队（IrionMaiden前主唱的个人乐队）特意举行了一个短小的演出，不过后来乐队与Roadrunner之间发生了一些问题，并且结束了合作，乐队遇到了支持他们的Pavement并与他们签约。94年的春天S.A.录制了专集并发行，而且和MercyfulFate进行了许多次巡演，那真是一段漫长的时间，巡演过后乐队选择了小憩一阵的方式。在冷静了大约7、8个月后乐队又开始了新专集的准备。于是于96年便录制并发行了《DOWNFALL》。提起这张专集真是我所听过最特殊的专集，在这张专集中明显与前几张风格不同，那是S.A.的尝试。但专集里仍旧充满了一贯使用的doomy的味道，而且实际上doomy也是有好多种定义的。乐队认为真正重要的是去做出这种感觉来，必须在音乐中去实现它，否则就会停滞不前。同样的专集一遍一遍的反复没有意义，可能某种程度上能够换来一些顽固分子的认可，但那不是关键的，对于一个音乐家或艺术家来说尝试与创新才是最有意义的，必须反复的尝试去退开这座城墙，试着去实现一些不同的。S.A.就在这张专集告诉了我们他们对待音乐的方式，去做一些不同的、有意义的、放各种元素在内的歌。同时这也是RobertLowe唱得最好的一次。继这几张专集后，乐队停顿了大约两年的时间又在98年终于由Massacre公司发行了，充满Doom味道的专集名，这张专集大受Doom迷的关注，网上的评论也是随处可见。其实听S.A.还是今年的事情，以前不知怎么从未深入接触过这支乐队，直到某天一个朋友听说我喜欢SolitudeAeturnus所以说了一句“亘古恒寂”，回想了半天，也不知曾听过这么一支乐队的东西，嘿嘿，翻译回来才知道，每次都是匆匆而过，再听过乐队大部分主要专集后，我始终认为90、92、94三张专集是最流畅的作品，许多歌都值得反复斟酌。乐队大部分的歌都是由John创作的，他总结他的创作是用不同的方式来写这些歌，一般的说经常是用几个riffs，或一个动机就突然蹦出了一些想法，然后那就是要写得歌了，他经常在有了一些框架之后然后说“嗨，兄弟们，这就是我得到的”。然后大家就一起来做。一些人会加一点东西，Lyle经常会写一些词，经常还会挑一些适合这首歌的词，有时候会凑字，嘿嘿，或者适合歌的词，但是Lyle的词写得非常有寓意是很难得的一个如此有文才的贝司手，而后来Lyle走后，由Robert再写词的时候就似乎少了一些婉转一些隐语，而多了一份坦诚的感觉。
