昨天收到外胎，迫不急待地马上拆开包装，一股强烈的橡胶味出来，好像比我收到建大 1047外胎来得强烈。手感上就非常粘的感觉，和1047那种滑滑的手感不同。回到家后开始仔细对比两款胎的差别。WTB Vulpine SS 的颗粒介于1047和1010之间，意味着它的越野性能强于1047而逊色于1010。平路方面，由于它的中间V字形的突起，平地性能应该不会差，应该是一款面向多用途设计的外胎。在家里的瓷砖上，我试图比较一下两者抓地力的差别。用手握住外胎，给相同的压力向前或者向后滑动，明显感觉WTB Vulpine SS阻力大一些，主观感觉应该有百分之二十的差距。我还对比了一下胎壁的厚度，感觉WTB Vulpine SS略厚一点，重量凭手感，也是它略重一点。对比反面的编织密度，1047更细密一些，1047是60TPI的，因此我估计这款WTB Vulpine SS的编织密度应该不高，会是30的吗，猜的，如果错了，请见谅。 前几天就准备测试新胎了，所以事先已经想好了测试地点。在东山开发区北苑河桥附近的运河土路上。这里路面有些变化，有土质路，泥草路，车辙路，浮沙路，乱石路等。还有土质或者草地斜坡。下午三点四十我换下原配的棒槌外胎，是后胎。前胎考虑到五寸全避震车的导向安全性，暂时没有更换，也正好和后轮做同车对比测试。进入运河路之前是一小段水泥路，平地骑行明显轻松些，胎噪也小些。飞了两个六十厘米的水平落差，落地和过去2.2的胎没什么差别，又飞一个连续台阶，也稳定。然后进入土路。对于各种路面，简单地说，凡是2.25棒槌胎能顺利导向的地方，后轮无一例外地稳定通过，没有侧滑。为了测试它的侧向抓地力，限于地形条件和安全，我没有采用危险性比较高的高速转向，而是特地找了河堤边的大斜坡和路面上的车辙印。沿着车辙行进，然后以极小的角度侧面撞上车辙，看前后轮是否打滑或打滑的程度。结果很令我吃惊，基本没有打滑，即使以看似必定打滑的角度上去，也是比较稳定。反复这种动作，直到上瘾，很有乐趣哦，如果不是有意测试轮胎，我还没找到这种玩法。后来返回的时候，在马路人行道上我也大角度蛇形穿行，在人群中。看上去像个疯子吧。 然后沿着河堤的大角度斜坡骑行，没有侧滑，这里有点小风险，一旦发生严重侧滑，就要掉进运河了，这个季节掉河里，可不是那么好受。 最后我做了个静力测试。人站在车边，尽量倾斜车子，使劲推车侧滑，看它发生侧滑的临界角度。在泥草路上，这个角度，车和地面的夹角只有二十多度。在有浮土沙的路面上，这个角度也有三十多度。说明山地外胎提供的侧向抓地力是惊人的，我们尽可以放心大胆地压弯。这种测试，后轮的抓地力还略强于棒槌 XR 2.25。不过这种对比不够客观，一个是使用了快一年的胎，一个是新的。 由于是新胎，暂时我还舍不得做暴力的漂移和拉黑印的刹车动作，但返回下坡水泥路上几个规避行人的刹车，还是听到那种非常暴力的后轮摩擦声，非常明显地，后轮对地面的摩擦力极大，不用有任何怀疑后轮的稳定性。 结论非常明显，我 五寸林道车，使用这款1.95的外胎，是可以胜任的。至于以后在下坡碎石路上的性能，轮胎的耐磨损性能和防穿刺性能，留待以后吧。
