广州体育馆是为中国第九届运动会建设的一座现代化综合性多功能体育设施，是九运会体操、篮球等项目的比赛地和盛大的闭幕式举办地。它是广州市新世纪的重点、标志性建筑。 广州体育馆位于广州新广从公路原白云苗圃地段，项目占地约24万平方米，其中约8万平方米作体育馆建设用地，6万平方米作体育公园，8万平方米作运动员村，2万平方米为市政规划道路。项目总建筑面积约17万平方米。广州新体育馆建设内容有：主场馆、练习馆、大众活动中心、行政楼、餐厅、中央能源中心、停车场、运动员村及附属停车场、商业设施等，它是一个以体育比赛为主，兼顾文艺表演、会议展览的多功能综合性体育建筑。主场馆入口设有约1500平方米的大圆形广场，空间宽阔，方便人流集散。主场馆总建筑面积39635平方米，纵向最大跨度160米，横向最大跨度110米，馆内的观众席共设大小（2 4-16平方米）包厢24个，常规座位10018个，其中贵宾席654个，固定座位5044个，活动座位约4320 个。 训练馆总建筑面积19412平方米，纵向跨度151.5米，横向跨度70米，馆内设有体育项目练习区、游泳池、篮球场、赛前热身室、体育信息和学术交流的科技厅等功能配套设施。 地址：白云区白云大道南783号(近原东方乐园) 停车场：广州体育馆拥有多个功能各异的停车场，可停泊车辆1700多辆。广州体育馆地铁乘坐指引：乘坐广州地铁2号线到白云公园站，D出口前行约150米到广州体育馆外地旅客乘坐指引：从广州白云国际机场：在机场乘坐地铁3号线，在嘉禾望岗站转乘地铁2号线到白云公园站下。从广州火车站：到火车站公交场坐274路，805路、529路到体育馆站下车即可；或乘坐地铁2号线到白云公园站下。从广州火车东站：从火车东站走约50米到广州火车东站总站坐841到广州体育馆站下车即可。从省汽车总站、市汽车总站：线路同广州火车站。从广园新村客运站：从广园新村站坐38路(坐5站)，265路(坐5站)到体育馆站下车即可广州体育馆公交车：127、223、245、265、304、36、38、529、66、76A、76、805、834、864、885、891、大学城1线、夜9、旅游3线。547、34路总站即为广州体育馆。PS：机场到体育馆是100块左右，大概35分钟。 艾薇儿广州演唱会众多粉丝期待已久，在这热浪的季节，各位粉丝们应该注意些什么呢：【安全】众入场时千万不要携带任何易燃易爆、有毒危险物品以及刀具、金属器械等。此外，瓶装、罐装饮料也不能带入场内——场内会有软包装饮料提供。【衣着】建议现场观众根据自己的身体状况和当天天气预报，穿着适宜的衣物入场。尤其要提醒女性FANS，尽量勿着裙装和高跟鞋入场——一是万一发生紧急事件，裤装与便于运动的鞋子能提供更多保护。【装备】荧光棒、口哨、海报、手牌、望远镜等装备当然是看演唱会的必备法宝，但现场必然人多事杂，贵重物品尽量少带或不带，谨防遗失。【注意】演出前手机等其他通讯设备一律关闭，尤其是演出时严禁接、打手机，请尊重艺人演出，保证演出质量。【洗手间】看演出时频繁进出会给其他人带来不便，因此，应尽量少饮水，以避免在演出进行期间出去使用洗手间。在演出时一定不要来回走动。【咳嗽】如在观看演出时喉咙发痒，可以含服非咀嚼型润喉糖，避免咳嗽声频繁发出。暂时控制不了咳嗽或喷嚏的观众，可向工作人员要求出场稍歇。当然，如果正在患病期，就不要到类似的公共场所，以免把细菌带给别人，这也是对其他观众负责的表现。【鞋帽】看演出时应该摘掉帽子，以避免影响后面观众的视线。在演唱会、音乐会以及电影院这样的场合，是绝对不允许脱鞋子的。
