FSI发动机，就是“缸内直喷发动机”，“直喷式汽油发动机”。 　　它最大地优化了进气混合效率，使高效节油和大功率输出不再矛盾。奥迪FSI增加了火花塞点燃式发动机的扭矩和输出，同时增加了15%的经济性，为降低排放奠定了基础。与常规的点燃式发动机相比，FSI可将燃油直接喷入燃烧室，不再需要节气门，降低了发动机的热损失，从而增大了输出功率并降低了燃油消耗。 　　具体的说： 　　FSI是Fuel Stratified Injection的字母简写，中文意思是燃料分层喷射技术，它代表着今后引擎的一个发展方向。 　　传统的汽油发动机是通过电脑采集凸轮位置以及发动机各相关工况从而控制喷油嘴将汽油喷入进气歧管。汽油在歧管内开始混合，然后再进入到汽缸中燃烧。空气跟汽油的最佳混合比是14.7/1（也叫理论空燃比），传统发动机由于汽油跟空气是在进气歧管内混合，那么他们只能均匀的混合在一起，所以必须达到理论空燃比才能获得较好的动力性和经济性，但由于喷油嘴离燃烧室有一定的距离，汽油同空气的混合情况受进气气流和气门开关的影响较大，并且微小的油颗粒会吸附在管道壁上，这就的理论空燃比很难达到，这是传统发动机无法解决的一个问题。 　　要想解决这一难题，就必须把燃油直接喷射到汽缸中去，这就是奥迪的FSI燃油直喷发动机可以做的。直喷式汽油发动机采用类似于柴油发动机的供油技术，通过一个活塞泵提供所需的100bar以上的压力，将汽油提供给位于汽缸内的电磁喷射器。然后通过电脑控制喷射器将燃料在最恰当的时间直接注入燃烧室，通过对燃烧室内部形状的设计，让混合气能产生较强的涡流使空气和汽油充分混合。然后使火花塞周围区域能有较浓的混合气，其他周边区域有较稀的混合气，保证了在顺利点火的情况下尽可能的实现稀薄燃烧。这就是分层燃烧的精髓所在。 　　FSI技术采用了两种不同的注油模式：分层注油和均匀注油模式。在发动机低速或中速运转时采用分层注油模式，此时节气门为半开状态，空气由进气管进入汽缸撞在活塞顶部，由于活塞顶部制作成特殊的形状从而在火花塞附近形成期望中的涡流。当压缩过程接近尾声时，少量的燃油由喷射器喷出，形成可燃气体。这种分层注油方式可充分提高发动机的经济性，因为在转速较低、负荷较小时除了火花塞周围需要形成浓度较高的油气混合物外，燃烧室的其它地方只需空气含量较高的混合气即可，而FSI使其与理想状态非常接近。当节气门完全开启，发动机高速运转时，大量空气高速进入汽缸形成较强涡流并与汽油均匀混合。从而促进燃油充分燃烧，提高发动机的动力输出。电脑不断的根据发动机的工作状况改变注油模式，始终保持最适宜的供油方式。燃油的充分利用不仅提高了燃油的利用效率和发动机的输出而且改善了排放。 　　FSI直喷发动机既然有如此多的技术优势，相应的其对发动机硬件或者油品的要求必然也很高。首先，它的喷油器安装在燃烧室上的，汽油直接喷注到汽缸当中去，油路必须具备比缸内更高的压力才能把汽油有效的喷注到汽缸当中去。燃油管道内的压力提高以后，管道的各个接头的密封处的强度也要随之提高。这样，对喷油器的设计和制造工艺也提出了更高的要求。而且由于喷油器是直接安装在燃烧室上的，那么必须需要喷油器有耐高温的能力。其次，FSI直喷发动机的压缩比很高，达到了惊人的11.5，在这种情况下对油的标号和油质要求就很严格。就目前中国的情况来说，必须使用98号的高清洁度汽油。 　　就技术来说，FSI缸内直喷发动机非常适合目前油价容易上涨的市场需要。作为奥迪公司和竞争对手抗衡的一张王牌，这款发动机有它自身强大的生命力，必然会引领发动机的发展趋势。CBR技术(Controlled Burn Rate可控燃烧速率):　　可以使发动机在怠速和低负荷工况下, 增强涡流强度, 燃料混合更均匀, 动力经济性更好, 排放更加清洁。　　DGI(Direct Gasoline Injection汽油高压缸内直喷)技术: 　　它将喷油嘴安装在燃烧室内喷注高压燃油，与通过进气门进入燃烧室的洁净空气混合，点燃做功。它具有高充气效率、电子控制精确配油、提高发动机的压缩比和热效率等优点，以获得更高的功率、更经济的油耗、更清洁的排放。　　TCI(Turbo Charger with Inter-cooler废气涡轮增压中冷)技术:　　用发动机排放的高速废气推动涡轮增压机带VNT的主动叶轮转动，主叶轮带动从动叶轮转动，从动叶轮在转动中增加来自空滤的空气的动能和压力，并通过中冷器冷却增压后的洁净空气，提高气缸的进气量，进一步提高了发动机的有效功率。　　VVT(Variable Value Time可变气门正时)技术: 　　在发动机高速运转的时候，需要较大的气门叠开角来达到充气充分的目的。而在发动机怠速的时候，气门叠开角应该相应变小，达到降低排放的目的。传统的固定相位角的凸轮轴由于相位角已经固定所以不能满足这种要求。而VVT技术可以通过螺旋槽式VVT-i控制器调节凸轮轴调节气门开闭，满足不同工况需求，达到增加功率、减少油耗，改善排放的目的。奇瑞(参数配置 图库)系列发动机不仅在进气门调节上使用该技术，而且在排气门控制上，同样使用了该技术，称作VVT2(可变进排气门正时)技术。　　EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation废气再循环)技术:　　从排气歧管引出部分已经燃烧完的废气送到进气歧管中，通过EGR冷却器(EGR cooler)冷却后，被送至进气歧管中，与从TCI系统输送过来的新鲜空气形成了混合气。由于废气的存在，混合气的含氧量比空气的含氧量要少，燃烧时，由于含氧量的降低，缸内最高燃烧温度也随之降低，于是NOx的生成受到抑制。同时改善了燃烧过程，使燃烧以一种更平稳的方式进行，促使CO、PM有更多机会被充分氧化，从而降低了CO、PM等的生成，抑制碳烟的产生。　　CR(Common Rail高压共轨):　　共轨式喷油系统主要由高压供油系统、高压油轨、每缸一个的喷油器、高压油泵和电控单元(ECU)组成，高压油泵和输油泵集成为一个整体，以节省空间。高压油泵可提供高达1600bar以上压力的燃油，高压燃油先进入油轨中，实际上油轨是一个蓄压器，它有一定容积，并能承受高压。来自高压油泵的燃油压力是脉动的，经过油轨的缓冲作用，油轨的压力可保持在1600bar，然后经高压油管分配到四个喷油器中。为了使发动机工作更加平稳，整个喷油系统采取了预喷、主喷和后喷的工作方式，实现了燃烧过程中燃油再喷射，降低缸内燃烧气体的温度，从而有效降低了NOx的生成，同时发动机的工作变得更平稳，噪音也得到有效的控制。　　DMF(Dual-mass Fly wheel双质量飞轮)：　　双质量飞轮可以在动力从曲轴传到变速箱的过程中，将振动和噪声隔离；提高换档和驾驶的舒适性；减小曲轴的扭转和弯曲载荷；由于较多使用发动机经济区域而使油耗降低,同时能在发动机过载时保护传动链零件；　　TVD(Torsional Vibration Damper扭振减震器): 　　水泵、空调压缩机等由发动机曲轴驱动，汽油机的TCI技术获得了很高的升功率和升扭矩，同时也对曲轴提出了苛刻的要求，TVD技术将曲轴结构分为内、中间、外三层。内、外两层均为金属结构，中间层是有一定弹性胶圈，经过特殊工艺使三者结合成一个整体，调整胶的成分就能改变其固有频率，减轻附件系统对曲轴带来的扭振影响，保证曲轴的寿命。
