综合布线四大主要特征：　　楼宇自动化（BA）包含防火自动化（FA））　　通信自动化（CA）　　办公自动化（OA）（包含信息管理自动化（MA））　　布线综合化综合布线与智能大厦的关系　　综合布线系统犹如智能大厦内的一条高速公路,我们可在土建阶段将连接3A的线缆,综合布线建筑物内,至内楼内安装或增设什么系统,我们完全可以根据时的和需要,发展和可能来决定了。综合布线（PDS）只智能大厦的一个部份,不能把综合布线系统看成智能大厦。只要有了"高速公路"，有了"综合布线系统"，想跑什么"车",想上什么系统，那就变得非常简单了。综合布线系统的初始投资仅占速个建筑的3-5%。综合布线的概念　　综合布线系统是一个用于语音、数据、影像和其他信息技术的标准结构化布线系统。综合布线系统是建筑物或建筑群内的传输网络，它既能使语音和数据通信设备、交换设备和其它信息管理系统彼此相连接，包括建筑物到外部网络或电话局线路上的连接点与工作区的语音或数据终端之间的所有电缆及相关联的布线部件。综合布线的结构　　采用模块化设计和分层星形拓朴结构。应用广泛的建筑与建筑群结合布线系统（PDS）结构可分为6个独立的系统（模块）：　　1.工作区子系统（WorkAreaSubsystem）　　由终端设备到信息插座的连接（软线）组成　　2.水平区子系统（HorizontalSubsystem）　　将电缆从楼层配线架连接到各用户工作区上的信息插座上,一般处在同一楼层　　3.垂直干线子系统（RiserBackboneSubsystem）　　将主配与各楼层配线架系统连接起来　　4.管理子系统（AdministrationSubsystem）　　将垂直干缆线与各楼层水平布线子系统连接起来　　5.设备间子系统　　将各种公共设备(如计算机主机、数字程控交换机，各种控制系统，网络互连设备)等与主配线架连接起来。综合布线设计方案　　1.设计结构图　　2.设计实例　　3.考虑因素　　尽量满足用户的通信要求、要了解建筑物，楼宇间的通信环境、要确定合适的通信网络拓朴结构、选取将要使用的介质以开放式为基准，尽量与大多数厂家产品和设备兼容。
