英语的重要性已经受到社会各界的关注和重视，那么，小学英语，是学生学习英语的启蒙，是学生学习阶段一个至关重要的环节。所以，要想学生学习好英语，就必须明确小学生学习英语存在着一些什么问题，面对这些问题，又应该如何解决，这是至关重要的。在小学的英语教学中, 单词的发音和记忆便成了重点和难点。我想，只有解决了单词的朗读和记忆这两方面问题，才能让学生的英语学习游刃有余！ 一、学生在朗读方面存在的问题及原因 1、学生在听音急于模仿，导致自身发音欠缺 儿童心理学告诉我们，小学生爱模仿，模仿性强，但缺乏自控能力。课堂上， 常有学生一听教师示范发音，就急于开口模仿，轻声跟讲，结果导致自身发音欠准，而且还影响了他人听音。 2、朗读时语速、节奏掌握不好，拖音或滑句读 小学英语课文有的句子短而简单，读来朗朗上口。有些学生觉得这些句子都已能讲能背了，在朗读时漫不经心，不是看着一句句朗读，而是滑句读。有的课文句子长而复杂，学生听录音跟读时，语速、节奏掌握不好，过慢、拖 沓。 1、多听录音，大声诵读 对于小学生来说，应尽可能多地多听录音、多模仿，增强感性认识，感受不同角色的语调、语气、音质和感情色彩等，然后大声诵读。 2、仔细听学，用心诵读 用心读首先要做到用心听。小学生模仿能力强，但缺乏自控能力，往往一听到教师或录音的示范发音就急于开口模仿，轻声跟读，但往往发音不准确，还影响其他学生听课。因此，在英语教学的起始阶段，教师要训练学生仔细听教师的示范发音，提醒学生边听发音，边注意观察教师的口形，然后再模仿。在模仿过程中要求学生达到眼到、口到、耳到、心到之境界，要求口、眼、耳与大脑并用，可以循序渐进，先要求做到眼到口到，逐步达到口到心到。 3、立足课堂，及时诵读 由于小学英语课时少，训练项目又较多，光靠课堂上的诵读是不够的，有些诵读任务可作为家庭作业布置给学生。但由于受年龄特点和心理特点的影响，多数小学生的自觉性不是很强。诵读任务如果布置下去不检查，收效就不大。教师可以在课内采用齐背、分组背、接力背、汉译英、英译汉、默写等方法来检查。 总之，学习英语不是一朝一夕的事，只有不断地进行诵读活动，不断地重复模仿，才能真正地提高学生英语口语表达能力。朗读是准口语，它是一种综合性的练习，朗读需要学生读、听、说等多种能力同时发挥作用。这就要求教师在教学实践中不断地探索有效的教法，让学生在课堂上有兴趣地读，自觉地读，有效地读。 朗读是学好英语的先决条件，只要会读了，学生才能更深入的进行英语学习，那么，记忆也是英语学习的一个必要环节。所以我们还要处理好学生对英语单词的记忆。那么小学生有那么单词记忆的问题呢？我觉得有以下几点： 1、遗忘率较高。根据遗忘曲线规律,习得的知识不经常去回忆,巩固,运用,是很容易被遗忘的。更由于英语与母语在语言文化等方面的差异性,及单词学习不得法等等的原因,许多学生在花费了大量的时间去记忆单词后,效果却很不理想。对学过、背过、默写过的单词无法回忆起其音、形、义,更不用说自如运用了。 2、规则掌握不牢。由于受母语的负迁移影响,小学生在模仿单词读音,利用拼读规则和构词规则去领悟英语单词的音、形、义之间的联系上,存在着相当大的难度,进而觉得单词的拼读方法和拼读技巧难以掌握。 3、学习方式单一。在小学英语单词教学中,由于受到某些客观条件的限制,也因脱离了一定的语境和英语国家的文化背景,学生在现实生活交往中或模拟情境中难以理解和运用已学过的单词。 4、自主学习能力差。大部分学生都习惯于在课堂教学中被动的接受知识,因此,他们对教材的依赖性特强,自学能力弱。 针对以上问题，我认为以下方面可以帮助学生有效记忆英语单词的方法： 1、分类记忆法 分类记忆法就是把所学的单词按照一定的规律分门别类,集中记忆单词的方法。 分类记忆法又可以有音节分类记忆法和中文词义分类法两种。音节分类记忆法就是教师把学过的单词浏览一遍,把含有相同字母组合的单词集中到一块。例如:-ther类:father、mother、brother、either、weather..在没有学习音标的情况下,我们只能告诉学生这些单词中的ther发音相同,我们只需要记住前面的字母,然后再加上ther就可以了。 中文词意分类法就是教师按照单词的中文翻译把单词进行分类,然后将它们集中起来记忆。通常有以下几类学科类:politics、chinese、maths、english..食物类:food、milk、bread、egg、rice、fish、meat..交通工具类:plane、train、bus、car、ship..人体部位类:head、face、eye、nose、leg、mouth.. 3、合成-拆分单词记忆法 合成法就是两个或更多的词合在一起组成一个合成词,该合成词的意思可根据构成的几个词的意思推断出来,因此, 积累、整理出一些合成法则,对阅读、理解、翻译和记忆单词均大有好处。拆分法就是将一个合成词拆分成两个或多个单词,进而推理每个单词的含义。例如: pencilcase它是由铅笔pencil和盒子case两个单词组成的;class+mateu2192classmate它是由教室class和伙伴mate两个单词组成的。 4、对比记忆法 对比记忆法是把词义相反、相对的词放在一起,对比记忆。这些词意思相反,对照鲜明,使大脑的刺激信号特别灵敏,从而能起到强化记忆的效果。例如:coolwarm(凉暧)、coldhot(冷热)、earlylate(早迟)等等。 5、歌曲记忆法 我们经常听到一些歌曲(英文单词的歌词,配上符合节奏的、儿童喜欢听曲调),这些歌曲学生喜欢听,也愿意唱。我们教师也可以编一些简单的歌曲,来帮助学生记忆单词。三年级教学颜色时我编了一小段歌词:红色红色red,黄色黄色yellow,蓝色蓝色blue. . ,再配上《数鸭子》的曲调。学生很快就达到了听读认的教学要求,几个学生甚至会写了单词,学生的记忆力真神奇,让我惊奇不已。 总之,教师无论采用哪种方法,目的都是调动学生的手脑眼口耳,让各个感官来参与记忆,口念、手写、耳听、眼看、用脑记,这样做才能事半功倍。最后,我引用一段至理名言送给大家:背诵是记忆的根本,理解是记忆的基础,趣味是记忆的媒介,应用是记忆的要诀,重复是记忆的窍门,化简是记忆的助手。
