2006。G7邀请中国领导人出席在圣彼得堡举行的G7峰会，2006年7月，中方参加了圣彼得堡峰会，但是以发展中国国家代表的身份与G7进行对话。G7最初成立于1975年，旨在解决当时世界面临的经济危机和政治挑战。

BRC-全球食品标准是针对向英国零售商供应食品的任何国家以及任何食品的供应商设计的。遵守此项方案并不是法律规定，但是英国零售商对这个标准十分推崇。为了遵守此标准，食品供应商/制造商必须在他们的管理体系中采用三项主要标准：HACCP的采用和实施一个备有证明文件的和有效的质量管理体系工厂环境标准、产品、过程和人员的控制BRC认证的益处：改善贵公司食品安全和食品安全管理体系展示贵公司对生产或销售安全食品的承诺获得英国零售业的认可和信任提高贵公司客户/消费者对产品安全和质量的信心改善贵公司新市场/新客户的看法减少供应商的审核次数谁需要BRC认证？英国大多数大型零售商只选择通过BRC全球标准认证的企业作为供货商。大多数零售商会要求制造商提供BRC认证证书，并满足其零售客户的法律和质量要求。这是因为根据1990年的《食品安全法》，零售商要对自有品牌的产品及其品牌负有法律责任。该法不强制要求出口英国及欧洲的外国公司遵守BRC标准。但是正如其名，全球标准已经成为多个行业（食品、非食品类消费品及包装材料）广泛接受的供货商最佳标准，不但用于零售商品牌产品制造商的评估，也用于品牌产品的评估。许多欧洲及全球的零售商（如澳大利亚）在选择供货商时，作为条件之一，也会要求提供BRC证书。另外，某些国际品牌拥有者还会在其世界各地的制造厂推行BRC认证。执行该标准的好处之一是它符合“合理措施”的法律要求，因此其认证并非贸易障碍，而是满足法律要求的一个手段。
