不得不承认我是一名MOOC中毒者。我通过Coursera接触到了最初MOOC提供的课然后就爱上它了。从那时起我选了几个课，不过有些课我喜欢得多一些，我想了一些比较基础的技巧，帮助阅读者从MOOC获得最大收益。你的学习目标是什么？建立你自己的学习目标可能听起来有些奇怪，尤其是课程在描述里已经有了自己的目标列表，但在开始一个MOOC时提前建立学习目标是获得丰富又成功的学习经验的关键。MOOC的美在于，在属于你自己的学期里，能够灵活的学到你想要的，除了你的时间之外不再需要任何资源。而且因为你的时间很宝贵，建立目标可以确保你值回票价（时间）。第一步是决定为什么你要上这课。是为了丰富个人内涵，或是开发一个能在目前工作或未来工作中应用的技能？明确了为什么后的第二步——按照你个人上这门课的理由量身制作学习目标。最有效地利用宝贵时间的方法就是通过建立个人学习目标来学习对你有意义的东西。你想付出多少时间？另外一个值得设立的目标是决定你每周想用多少时间——每周你想贡献给课程的小时数。有些课程自带的课程指导能够说明每周必须要多少个小时的学习才能跟上进度，虽然不是很精确而且多数情况还是依赖于你的个人目标，所以何时花时间上课经常不确定。一旦你建立了自己的时间目标，能否实现又变成了一个挑战。特别是如果你要工作、照顾家庭和尽你的公民义务。我发现的一个有效技巧是每周从日历里提前划出一些上课时间。虽然这样也不是很固定，但如果在我的时间表里有明确的上课时间规划，我会更有动力去上课。写笔记！一旦你设定了自己的学习目标，就去钻研课程吧，我强烈推荐建立并且坚持记录自己的网络笔记。网络笔记不仅一开始能记录你的学习目标而且日后也能记录笔记、列网页链接清单、图片、网络产品和其它有关课程的内容。我最喜欢的工具是印象笔记这个程序（编者注，原谅这位外国网友不知道MOOC学院）。我最开始登记的每个课程都创建了一个网络笔记本，这个笔记本包括课程描述和个人课程目标。随着课程的进展，我添加更多内容到笔记本中。比如当我看到一个演讲就会在观看的同时记录笔记。网络笔记包括 Livebinder, Google Docs 或 Google Keep。这有个我最近完成的MOOC的课记录的笔记。编者的话：MOOC学院也有大量好看的笔记。比如@慕容晓舟 香喷喷的“吃货的自我修养系列”笔记。做好接受过量信息的准备刚开始MOOC时感到不知所措很正常。多数学生会不确定从哪开始，不知道哪能找到教材并且对课程是如何运作的感到茫然。首先你要知道MOOC概念的前提是学习者自我指导和自我激励，这可能对你的今后的课程学习有些帮助。MOOC假定你在学习过程中很活跃，会坚定地创建学习计划、复习课程内容，你能确定主题并且知道如何在恰当的时间与数百名学生在论坛互动。所以多数MOOC学员都经历过信息轰炸就不奇怪了，因为MOOC较之传统课堂是一个完全不同的学习方式。如果这些发生在你身上不要退缩——这是正常反应。一旦你花时间去浏览和阅读课程，这些内容就应该变得有意义起来。把课程主页想象成一个挤满资源和内容的虚拟教室将会促进你学习。但是信息超量确实是真的存在并且至少会持续一周。不过如下技巧将减少学习弯路。熟悉课程主页，了解老师要求技巧中的第一步是熟悉课程内容，你可以回顾各个部分，访问课程主页上的链接标签。第二步是通过阅读课程大纲来了解课程被分成了多少部分（编者注：来见识一下史上最萌课程大纲，概率课课程大纲），然后阅读或观看教授的介绍。通常的形式是书面的欢迎信息或视频。有些课程可能包括了“从这里开始”这是（明显的）一个必须阅读的页面。一旦熟悉了大纲，回去再次浏览位于主页内的标签是很有帮助的。熟悉课程主页的各种功能之后你就可以准备开始MOOC了，先要确认第一周你要干什么，比如看课程视频、阅读内容等等。因为你是为了实现自己的目标而去做这些，你可以灵活地遵循你自己的计划，不要觉得何事都要拘泥于老师的要求，按照你自己的学习目标来做就好。创造自己的内容，和大家分享在MOOC学习并不是被动努力。它要求学习者积极争取和创造知识，你应该试着去创造或者写点什么即使课程没这个要求。你写写学到的内容并发到博客上去、写个文章然后分享、做个幻灯片或演讲或优酷视频。即使课程没要求也要考虑与其它学员联系。MOOCs提供这个全世界的学员互相学习的机会而且也很鼓励这个行为。我与其它学生用不同的方式联系着，它依赖于课程情况和我有多少时间。我也喜欢参加Google+社区或Facebook页面建立课程联系，如果Twitter stream上有这个班我也会加入，这样我可以看到班里其他同学的评论和他们发表的有关课程话题的博客。有些学生利用社交媒体平台组成学习小组，甚至实通过时聊天平台或Google视频群聊沟通。有些则使用课程本身的讨论区。虽然这方法在许多学生同时发表评论是个挑战。班级论坛里总能发生有意义的对话和讨论，不过我的建议是不要尝试参与一个以上的讨论主题。如果你发现有一个吸引你的主题，发布一个有思想的评论，有助于进一步讨论。坚持这一条路线，并参与讨论，剩下的一切随你。
