How to overcome the difficulties,

Dealing with difficulties is an inevitable part of life, and it"s important for us to learn how to overcome them. In this essay, I will share some effective ways that I often use to cope with difficulties.First of all, I believe in facing difficulties head-on. When I am faced with a challenge, I will confront it directly rather than avoid it. I try to understand the problem and its underlying causes before making a plan to solve it. This can be tough, but tackling it head-on can help me gain confidence and find solutions more easily.Secondly, seeking help from other people is always helpful. None of us are perfect, and we all have our areas of expertise. Asking for advice or assistance from experienced people who know more than we do can offer new perspectives or solutions to a problem. Sometimes just talking to friends or family can be a great way to relieve stress and find support.Thirdly, visualizing a positive outcome can help motivate us to overcome difficulties. By imagining the desired end result, we can gain the energy and inspiration to move forward and take action. This kind of positive thinking can help us stay motivated and confident, even when faced with obstacles.Lastly, perseverance and resilience are essential for overcoming difficulties. Difficulties often take time to resolve, and it"s important to remember that setbacks are common. It"s important to be patient and persistent to overcome difficulties. We need to be flexible and adjust our methods when things don"t work out as planned. In conclusion, overcoming difficulties requires a combination of different approaches. We should be willing to face problems head-on, ask for help when needed, visualize a positive outcome, and persevere through setbacks. By using these strategies, we can conquer challenges and become stronger, more confident individuals.

Dell XPS 8950

Enjoy Life Now, AND Save for Later Often we"re told that we have to suffer now — give up what we want — in order to succeed later, that in order to save we must sacrifice. Give up instant gratification to get delayed gratification. But you can do both. For years, I was confused about this, as I read books and websites that sent me two different messages: Pleasure later. The first message was that in order to be successful, in order to build wealth, you have to delay gratification. You can"t have instant gratification and be successful. Pleasure now. The second message was usually from other sources on Happiness, but sometimes from the same source: enjoy life now, while you can, because it"s short and you never know when your last day will come. Live every day like it"s your last. Trouble is, I agree with both messages. And if you read this site often, youu2019ll see that I send both messages: Live frugally and simply! But also enjoy life! That"s because I"ve reconciled the two philosophies into one: Live life now and enjoy it to the fullest — without destroying your future. The key to doing that? Find ways to enjoy life completely, utterly, maximally u2026 that donu2019t cost your future very much. Here are some tips for actually living that philosophy: Find free or cheap pleasures. Frugality does not have to be boring or restrictive u2026 if you use your imagination. Be creative and find ways to have fun — loads of it — without spending much money. Have a picnic at the park, go to the beach, do crafts, board games, fly a kite, make art, bake cookies u2026 I could list a hundred things, and you could come up with a few hundred more. Make a list of simple pleasures, and enjoy them to the maximum. This is the key to the whole idea of enjoying life now without spending tomorrow"s dollar. See Savor the Little Things . Make simplifying fun. I"m a big fan of simplifying my life, from decluttering to creating a simple lifestyle in every way. And to me, this is great fun. I get rid of stuff (and possibly make money selling it) and have a blast doing it. Thatu2019s good math. Rediscover whatu2019s important. Oftentimes we spend tons of money, shopping, going out, watching movies, eating out u2026 without really enjoying life. And when we stop to think about it, we never have time for the things we really want to do. Well, that"s probably because your life is filled with things that aren"t very important to you. Instead, step back and really think about whatu2019s important to you. Then get rid of the other (expensive) stuff, and focus on what"s important. Listen to some stuff on my list: my wife and kids, other friends and family, reading, writing, exercising, volunteering, spending quiet time in contemplation. Guess how many of those things cost a lot of money? Read more here . Make people a priority. This is related to the above point, but I thought I"d give it a little more emphasis. If you give "stuff" a priority — stuff like gadgets, nice furnishings, nice clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. — then you will spend a lot of money. But if you make people a priority — the people you love most, you close friends and family — you don"t need to spend a dime to enjoy life. Make some time to visit with friends, or your parents u2026 and have a conversation with them that doesn"t involve eating out or going to the movies. Just sit, have some iced tea or hot cocoa (depending on the weather), and talk. Tell jokes and laugh your heads off. Talk about books you"ve read, movies youu2019ve watched, new things going on in your life, your hopes and dreams. And make time for your kids or your significant other — really spend time with them, doing things that don"t cost money. (See Spend Time with Family and Loved Ones , 100 Ways to Have Fun With Your Kids and 50 Ways to Be Romantic on the Cheap .) Find time for yourself. Make time every day, and every week, to spend time alone. It really gives more meaning and enjoyment to your life, rather than rushing through life with no time to think, to breathe. For ideas on how to make this time, see these ways to create time for solitude . Sometimes, splurge. You shouldn"t restrict yourself from expensive pleasures all the time — it"s not good to develop the feeling of deprivation. To prevent that, once in awhile, buy yourself something u2026 or better yet, give yourself a decadent treat. I love things with dark chocolate or berries. Crepes with ice cream and berries are one of my favorites. Just don"t go overboard u2026 and learn to enjoy the splurge to the fullest. If you truly take the time to enjoy a treat, you don"t need a lot of it. Track your successes. It doesn"t really matter how you track your success u2026 you can use gold stars for creating a new simplifying or frugalfying habit, or a spreadsheet chart to track your decreasing debt and increasing savings or investments. Tracking is a great way to not only provide motivation, but make the process of changing fun. Reward yourself. And in order to make it more fun, celebrate every little success! Set rewards for yourself (hopefully not too expensive!) along your path to success — celebrate one day, two days, three days, a week, two weeks, three, a month u2026 you get the idea. Volunteer. One of the most rewarding things for my family has been when we have managed to volunteer. It"s actually something we only started doing last year, but since then, we"ve done it a bunch of times in a number of different ways. And while it doesn"t cost a dime, it is tremendously satisfying in ways that money could never buy. Read more . Live in the moment. Learn to think not so much about the past or future, but about what you are going through right now. Be present. It may seem trite, but it"s the key to enjoying life to the fullest — without having to spend money. Think about it — you can spend money on eating out, but if you are not really thinking about what you"re eating, you may not enjoy it much at all. But if you cook a simple but delicious meal, and really taste every bite, it can be tremendously enjoyable without costing a lot. Read more . Slow down. In the same way, you can"t really enjoy life to the fullest if it"s rushing past you like it"s on fast forward. Ever think about how quickly a week, a month, or a year goes by? Perhaps you"re in the fast lane too much. Try slowing down, and things will be less stressful and more enjoyable. Drive slower , eat slower , live slower . Learn to find cheap, cool stuff. Call me crazy, but I love shopping at thrift stores. You can find so many cool things there, and it costs so little. Garage sales are the same way. Or check out Freecycle , or read 20 Ways to Find Free or Cheap Books . Happiness is a Choice "Happiness, like unHappiness, is a proactive choice." - Stephen Covey We want it. We strive for it. We envy others who have it. We can see it just beyond the horizon u2026as soon as we get richer, thinner, married, divorced, younger, older, find a dream job, or quit a lousy one. Yet, how many people do you know who “have everything” and still yearn for true happiness? The kind of happiness I"m talking about is that kind that comes from within and is not based on status, position, wealth, or possessions. It"s a natural resource that is readily available to all. Happiness is a choice. It had previously been thought that the brain is unchanged by life experiences. Recent breakthroughs in psychology, neurology, and chemistry have revealed that Happiness is attainable, and the brain can actually change as a result of conscious selection of thoughts. Experts in the field have given Happiness a nickname -- “subjective well-being.” One person"s Hell may be Paradise for another. For example, bungee jumping would be sheer torture for me to endure. For a thrill-seeker friend of mine, this activity represents ultimate joy. Clearly our set points are based on different subjective criteria. Each of us is born with a genetically coded happiness “set point” which is not based entirely on what happens to us. This explains why some people are naturally cheerful most of the time, while others walk around with a permanent scowl on their faces u2013 determined in part by their genetic predisposition. However, according to University of Minnesota professor emeritus of psychology David Lykken, “Happiness is genetically influenced, although it is not genetically fixed. The brain"s structure can be modified through practice. If you really want to be happier than your grandparents provided for in your genes, you have to learn the kinds of things you can do, day by day, to bounce your set point up and avoid the things that bounce it down.” A study conducted with identical twins raised in different environments suggests that an individual"s set point determines about 50% of their disposition to Happiness. In other words, some people are happy , regardless of their less-than-ideal circumstances, while others are unhappy , even when they seem to “have it all.” According to Ed Diener, a professor of psychology at the University of Illinois and coeditor of the Journal of Happiness Studies , a number of tools can be used to raise subjective well-being. Here are some examples: Getting enough sleep Getting enough exercise Nurturing close relationships -- connection, physical touch Maintaining an optimistic outlook u2013 choosing positive thoughts Keeping a gratitude journal Forgiving others and letting go Utilizing signature strengths (honesty, kindness, ingenuity, love of learning, etc.) in service of something larger than yourself Acting happy by changing your physiology -- Put on a happy smile! meditation* *meditation is a very effective way to change subjective well-being. Richard Davidson, professor of psychology at the University of Wisconsin, found in his research that high levels of activity at the left frontal area of the cerebral cortex coincided with feelings of Happiness, joy, and alertness. Activity on the right frontal area corresponded to feelings of sadness, anxiety, and worry. Since meditation generates more left-brain activity, studies have concluded that it offers a way to produce more positive emotion. Even in the midst of hardship, one can experience simple pleasures by using some of the tools listed above. 14 Timeless Ways to Live a Happy Life How we achieve Happiness can be different for each one of us. Our passions, expectations, life experiences, and even our personalities all contribute to the level of happiness we experience in our lives. Some find Happiness in their careers while others prefer the bliss found in their marriages or other intimate relationship. No matter how you define happiness for yourself, there are certain universal and time-proven strategies to bring, and sustain, more happiness into your life. The following 14 ways to live a happy life can be adapted and even customized to fit your needs. Over time, these strategies will become positive and life-changing habits that will begin to bring more Happiness, joy and peace into your life. 1. Notice Whatu2019s Right Some of us see the glass as being half-full, while others see the glass as half-empty. The next time you are caught in traffic, begin thinking how nice it is to have a few moments to reflect on the day, focus on a problem you have been trying to solve, or brainstorm on your next big idea. The next time you get in the slow line at the grocery store, take the opportunity to pick up a tabloid magazine and do some “guilty pleasure” reading. Take all that life throws out you and reframe it with whatu2019s right about the situation. At the end of the day, you will more content, at peace and happy. Take the time to begin to notice whatu2019s right and see the world change in front of your eyes. 2. Be Grateful How many times do you say the words “thank you,” in a day? How many times do you hear these same words? If you are doing the first thing, saying the “thank yous,” the latter will naturally happen. Learn to be grateful and you will be open to receive an abundance of joy and Happiness. 3. Remember the Kid You Were Do you remember how to play? Iu2019m not referring to playing a round of golf or a set of tennis. Iu2019m talking about playing like you did when you were a child u2013 a game of tag; leap frog, or street baseball when the bat is a broken broom handle and the bases are the parked cars. One way to find or maintain your Happiness is to remember the kid you were and play! 4. Be Kind There is no question that by merely watching acts of kindness creates a significant elevation in our moods and increases the desire for us to perform good deeds as well. Kindness is indeed contagious and when we make a commitment to be kind to ourselves and to others we can experience new heights of joy, Hap

Use positive thinking to reframe your thoughts about your job. Changing your attitude about work won"t necessarily happen overnight. But if you"re alert to ways your view of work brings you down, you can improve your job satisfaction. Pay attention to the messages you give yourself. When you catch yourself thinking your job is terrible, stop the thought in its tracks. * Put things in perspective. Remember, everyone encounters good days and bad days on the job. * Look for the silver lining. "Reframing" can help you find the good in a bad situation. For example, you receive a less than perfect performance appraisal and your boss warns you to improve or move to another job. Instead of taking it personally or looking for another job right away, look for the silver lining. Depending on where you work, the silver lining may be attending continuing education classes, working closely with a performance coach and having the satisfaction of showing your boss you"re capable of change. * Learn from your mistakes. Failure is one of the greatest learning tools, but many people let failure defeat them. When you make a mistake at work, learn from it and try again. * Be grateful. Gratitude can help you focus on what"s positive about your job. Ask yourself, "What am I grateful for at work today?" If it"s only that you"re having lunch with a trusted co-worker, that"s OK. But find at least one thing you"re grateful for and savor it.

Here are eight monly asked bloopers., 1. What, exactly, does your pany do? ,Never pose questions that a library search could have answered., 2. What does the job pay? ,Avoid money discussions until the interviewer makes you an offer., 3. How many vacation and personal days do you allow? ,Makes you sound lazy--again, wait for the offer., 4. 英语作文what. education. should. do. for. us?

I grew up in a house of academics - both my parents were university professors with varying degrees of contributions as public intellectuals in their respective fields. In my upbringing, education wasn"t something you went to school and "did" for a couple of hours a day - it was and is a part of my identity, it shapes the way I think and feel and believe; education is a vocation.Growing up in such an environment, the way I perceive education tends to differ from popular notions and messages of what education is, does, or should do for the individual. In the first place, what do we think when we hear, "education?" Many of us envision the process of schooling where we acquire knowledge in the classroom where our ability to retain, reproduce, and sometimes reframe that knowledge is tested. And as we pursue higher levels of the education process, we move up a structural hierarchy where the knowledge acquisition process is more complex, and there is an expectation that beyond reproducing knowledge, we will adopt critical thinking of any acquired knowledge. This process, filled with instruction, and instructors, tests, and schedules, and deadlines, in a sense prepares us for organizing beyond the education institutions and systems. We have schedules and deadlines once we begin our lives in the so-called "real world." We also have bosses who will have expectations and projects that will entail instructions and deadlines that we are required to meet. In this way, education institutions do prepare us for work. And because of this, many deem that the sole intrinsic value of education is to prepare the individual to be a productive member of society in the workplace.Yet I find this positioning of education as solely a preparatory period for a working life inadequate. Education should teach us more than the rules and regulations of becoming a productive worker. Education should teach us how to engage in critical thinking and discourse of who we are as individuals and in relation to the community - the local one we find ourselves in, and the world at large. Education should provide us with the framework for how we choose to participate in society beyond the function of being a worker. This participation should extend to how we arrive at our political and religious constructs, how we choose to consume products and services, and how we choose to interact on a daily basis with the world around us.It is true that Western hegemony has essentially framed the education process, and as a result, it has become an extension of capitalism. And as an extension of capitalism, the process has become a means to a real outcome. In the liberal arts, we are taught that something is real if it is real in its consequences. And the consequences of education can be a job in our chosen field, a promotion, a title, etc. These are all good things and we should be allowed to want them. But if our education endeavors are only for these sole palpable purposes and our acquisition of knowledge doesn"t challenge our beliefs and question our realities, then I don"t believe we have received an education; we may have received a degree, but not an education.Education should be an endeavor in which the learner receives knowledge and encounters and experiences a change in how he or she perceives the world. Education should teach us to be more open-minded, in the sense of wanting to understand better those around us who do not share our viewpoints of the world. Education should teach us to be more conscious of how much good we can do, and to feel a responsibility to leave the world a better place than we found it. Education should lead us to seek more than we find, and to be content even when we do not find at all. Education should teach us to treat each other better because we should understand each other better as a consequence of it. Education should teach us all these things and more because the intrinsic value of education is not that it is a means to any one end, but that it is an end in itself.

Today, it seems as though we"re bombarded from all sides with so-called recipes for success. Images of what success looks like. Tactics to make us more successful. Warnings that what we"re doing right now might be sabotaging our success. The implicit understanding being that we"ll do thisthing, this way if we want to be successful. And we won"t do any more of that thing. All of this exists for a simple reason. We want to feel successful. Successful feels good. Successful is what we are supposed to want to be, right?Where we run into trouble, though, is that it"s not always clear what we"re striving for. And sometimes, even when it"s clear where we"re headed, that destination feels somewhat disconnected from what we really want or who we know ourselves to be.When we"re chasing after other people"s definitions of success, there are questions we don"t ask. It"s really easy to chase other people"s success instead of defining and creating our own, our way. Most of us do this at some point in our lives. Because that is what happens when we"re leading ourselves around by the outside instead of spending a little time getting to know who we are on the inside. We spend more time listening to others – mentors, role models, peers, friends and family – instead of trusting that we might have a different and equally valid vision. What happens? We become even more susceptible to outside influences. We compare. Something doesn"t feel quite right. We can"t seem to achieve things like work-life balance. We"re stressed far too much of the time.Recipes are great jumping off points. They are experiments and references. They help us to not reinvent perfectly good wheels. But unless you"ve written them yourself, you"ll need to dig a little deeper for lasting satisfaction. What works for someone else may not be what nourishes you.Just like cooking a delicious meal, unless you know what you"re hungry for and what ingredients you have to work with, a recipe isn"t going to do much good.In my life, I"ve always been more of a rule bender than a rule follower. (My strengths profiles reframe this as creativity, innovation and big picture thinking.) And although I love trying out new recipes, I nearly always modify the recipe as I"m cooking.Maybe I don"t have that much garlic. Maybe a little spice change would taste better to me. Maybe there are 3 recipes that all sound good and I wonder what it would taste like if I blended them together. If you"re feeling stressed by success— how to achieve it, whether you"ll get there, how to juggle it all, the burden of having “made it” – I invite you to revisit your beliefs about success. Find out what"s underneath it all for you. What"s your recipe? When you say you want to be successful, what do you really mean by that? When someone points out your successes, what"s your response? When you"re feeling most successful, what"s happening? What does it look like? How do you feel when you are successful?Spend some time defining success for yourself. Say yes to success, your way.

Scream at the boss? Snap at a colleague? Throw your cell phone into your computer monitor? In most cases anger isn"t an illness but a normal human emotion that causes problems when it flares too hot, too often. People can learn to manage their anger with practical skills. Psychologists believe that individual talk therapy is the most effective for anger problems. Anger doesn"t occur by itself. It"s nested and embedded with a lot of other emotions -- sadness, grief, shame. Angry people want to talk, given the opportunity. Tips to Help Keep A Temper in Check有助于控制脾气的小贴士--Calculate what your anger is costing you. Many people with anger problems think anger gives them an edge, and establishes superiority. Instead, you just look like an idiot. --Be aware of how you talk to yourself. If you keep saying how awful this is and making yourself feel alike a victim, you will get more angry. --If you feel a blowup coming on, give yourself a time-out before acting on it. Wait 15 minutes before you say something, or an hour before you send an email. Keep your options open. If it"s not going to be important in an hour, then let it go. It"s not worth getting angry about. --Keep an "anger log" to monitor what makes you angry. Learn to identify and avoid your triggers. --Don"t ruminate on past affronts or injustices. --Get physical, without fists. When your primitive brain senses a threat, it sets off the "fight or flight" cascade of hormones. Opt for flight instead of fight and burn off the extra adrenaline and cortisol with exercise. Even a brisk walk will help calm you down. --Reframe the situation. Instead of seeing every inconvenience or frustration as a personal affront, imagine a benign explanation. --Find a constructive solution to the issue at hand. Ask yourself: What do I need to be okay right now? That shifts the focus from how the other person needs to be punished to how I need to respond in a healthy way.

MIME类型就是设定某种扩展名的文件用一种应用程序来打开的方式类型,当该扩展名文件被访问的时候,浏览器会自动使用指定应用程序来打开。多用于指定一些客户端自定义的文件名,以及一些媒体文件打开方式。php获取文件mime类型有以下几种方法:1、mime_content_type()函数判断获取mime类型mime_content_type返回指定文件的MIME类型,用法:echomime_content_type("php.gif") ."";echomime_content_type("test.php");输出:image/giftext/plain但是php 5.3.0已经将该函数废弃。如果仍想使用此函数,那么可以对php进行配置启用magic_mime扩展。2、php Fileinfo 获取文件MIME类型(finfo_open)PHP官方推荐mime_content_type()的替代函数是Fileinfo函数。PHP5.3.0+已经默认支持Fileinfo函数(fileinfosupport-enabled),不必进行任何配置即可使用finfo_open()判断获取文件MIME类型。用法:$finfo = finfo_open(FILEINFO_MIME);$mimetype = finfo_file($finfo, $filename);finfo_close($finfo);3、image_type_to_mime_type()获取图片MIME类型注意:需要在php.ini中配置打开php_mbstring.dll(Windows需要)和extension=php_exif.dll。4、php上传文件获取MIME类型如果使用php上传文件,检测上传文件的MIME类型,则可以使用全局变量$_FILES["uploadfile"]["type"],由客户端的浏览器检测获取文件MIME类型。

【转】 什么是MIME TYPE(关于Content-Type text/html)

比如在 Windows 下,打开注册表的“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClassesMIMEDatabaseContent Type”主键,你可以看到所有 MIME Type 的配置信息。 这可以通过多种类型MIME(多功能网际邮件扩充协议)来完成。 那么这时的MIME类型就是“application/vnd.ms-excel”。 RFC-822 Standard for ARPA Internet text messages RFC-2045 MIME Part 1: Format of Internet Message Bodies RFC-2046 MIME Part 2: Media Types RFC-2047 MIME Part 3: Header Extensions for Non-ASCII Text RFC-2048 MIME Part 4: Registration Procedures RFC-2049 MIME Part 5: Conformance Criteria and Examples

Sitting has become the smoking of our generation. So instead of going to coffee meetings or fluorescent-lit conference room meetings, I ask people to go on a walking meeting, to the tune of 20 to 30 miles a week. It"s changed my life. The more reflective one, is just about how much each of us can hold problems in opposition when they"re really not that way. And if we"re going to solve problems and look at the world really differently, whether it"s in governance or business or environmental issues, job creation, maybe we can think about how to reframe those problems as having both things be true. Because it was when that happened with this walk-and-talk idea that things became doable and sustainable and viable. Walk and talk. Walk the talk. You"ll be surprised at how fresh air drives fresh thinking, and in the way that you do, you"ll bring into your life an entirely new set of ideas.

It can help you as a single home owner. It can help the whole country as well. Whether or not solar energy can save your money depends on many things. Where you live is one factor. The type of home you have is another. Things like insulation present energy coasts, and the type of system you buy are added factors. Using solar energy can help save our precious fuel. As you know, our supplies of oil and gas are very limited. There is just not enough on hand to meet all our future energy needs. And when Mother Nature says that"s all. The only way we can delay hearing those words is by starting to save energy now and by using other sources, like the sun. We wont have to worry about the suns running out of energy for another several billion years or so. Besides begin an endless source of energy, the use of the sun has other advantages as well. The sun doesn"t offer as many problems as other energy sources. For example, fossil fuel plants add to already high pollution levels. With solar energy, we will still need sources of energy, but we wont need as much. That means we can cut down on our pollution problems. With all these good points, why don"t we use more solar power? There are many reasons for this. The biggest reason is money. Until now, it was just not practical for a home owner to put in a solar unit. There were cheaper sources of energy. All that is changing now. Solar coats are starting to equal the costs of oil and electricity. Experts say that gas, oil and electricity prices will continue to rise. The demand for electricity is increasing rapidly. But new power plants will use more gas, oil or coal. Already in some places the supply of electricity is being rationed. Solar energy is now in its infancy. It could soon grow to become a major part of our nations energy supply. 1. Which statement best expresses the main idea? A) Energy from coal would not pollute our living environment. B) Energy from natural gas would not pollute our living environment. C) Energy from the sun would not pollute our living environment. D) Energy from oil would not pollute our living environment. 5. Solar energy is now in its infancy, ____. A) but it will be considered as an important part of our nation s energy supply B) yet we will build more power plants C) and the supply of electricity will be rationed D) but we don t need practice energy rationing nowJane got home late at night. They believe that their family members, and in particular(尤其是) their parents, don"t know them as well as their friends do. In large families, it is quite often for brothers and sisters to fight with each other and then they can only go to their friends for advice. It is very important for teenagers to have one good friend or a circle of friends. Even when they are not with their friends, they usually spend a lot of time talking among themselves on the phone. This communication(交际) is very important in children"s growing up, because friends can discuss something difficult to say to their family members.

求STING的那首A Thousand Years的歌词

A thousand years, a thousand more, A thousand times a million doors to eternity I may have lived a thousand lives, a thousand times An endless turning stairway climbs To a tower of souls If it takes another thousand years, a thousand wars, The towers rise to numberless floors in space I could shed another million tears, a million breaths, A million names but only one truth to face A million roads, a million fears A million suns, ten million years of uncertainty I could speak a million lies, a million songs, A million rights, a million wrongs in this balance of time But if there was a single truth, a single light A single thought, a singular touch of grace Then following this single point , this single flame, The single haunted memory of your face I still love you I still want you A thousand times the mysteries unfold themselves Like galaxies in my head I may be numberless, I may be innocent I may know many things, I may be ignorant Or I could ride with kings and conquer many lands Or win this world at cards and let it slip my hands I could be cannon food, destroyed a thousand times Reborn as fortune"s child to judge another"s crimes Or wear this pilgrim"s cloak, or be a common thief I"ve kept this single faith, I have but one belief I still love you I still want you A thousand times the mysteries unfold themselves Like galaxies in my head On and on the mysteries unwind themselves Eternities still unsaid Till you love me
