首先你要把硬件都弄明白。你的声卡是否支持ASIO认证？支持ASIO认证在使用Guitar RIg或其他软件效果器时是不会有延迟的。板载声卡肯定是不支持ASIO。录音用的外置声卡都是支持ASIO认证的。因此解决办法有两种：1、买一个录音外置声卡。或者2、不买声卡，网上下载一个ASIO插件（但是板载声卡音质较差）。硬件具备后打开Guitar Rig 在设置栏里将输入和输出都设置成你的声卡就ok了，没有什么参数设置。

guitarrig5不能连接吉他设置。guitarrig连接吉他设置会造成内部装置的损坏，影响装置的使用寿命。

iPad可以串四颗，其他的部份都一样。软体也有分免费版跟付费完整版，iPhone/iPod touch还多了个比较便宜的LE功能限制版，因为我之後会买iPad，所以不打算在iPhone/iPodtouch的版本上面花钱，免费版一开始只有一颗音箱、一个cab、两种mic（电容跟动圈）、三种效果器，这三种效果器分别是 Distortion（Distortion在注册帐号之後就会开通）、Delay、Noise Gate，然後可以在另外单买效果器跟音箱，如果你不想买完整版的套餐也可以挑某几颗来买，不过当然是直接买完整版会便宜很多。　声音的部份的话，老实说还不错，Free版本能调的大概就是Clean Tone到顶多Hard Rock的破音，没办法做到Metal那样破的声音，我试著把音箱的Gain全开，不串效果器的话就是顶多Blues那样的破度，而且他Gain开小的时候Volume就算转到底音量还是不够。然後串了Distortion之後就可以到HardRack的程度，但是要注意的是效果器跟音箱两边的Gain都不能开到底，一旦开到底然後音量又开到足够听到的程度的时候，如果用耳机没有开NoFeedback的功能的话就会高频Feedback，虽然觉得不可思议，但是他还是发生了。不过我比较喜欢No Feedback关掉的声音，音场比较开，打开的话就像是贴著你的耳朵。那整体来说的缺点就是底噪的问题，我吉他的导线就算没插，开到High Gain就会有很明显的底噪，我想这应该是iPhone里面音讯线路的问题，抗杂讯功能没有这麼强，所以如果想要乾净的tone的话就一定要挂Noise Gate，开了他Tone会影响一点，但是声音就会乾净很多很多。　最後是iRig这个介面，他小小一个，而且是接耳mic孔，所以我原本以为他只是内部跳线跳一跳而已，就像网路上有教人怎麼自己做一样，那我好奇新驱使之下就把他拆开来看，结果里面不完全是我想的那样，他是有电路板的，不过都是电容电阻二极体等被动元件(这是当然的，因为耳机孔又没供电)，我想应该是除了阻抗转换之外还有滤杂讯的功能，毕竟如果只是跳线的话这东西卖这个价钱就很贵很贵了，不过看到里面有电路的设计就感到比较心安，毕竟这里面还是有他的 Know-how在，钱算花的有价值，当然自己DIY跳线做一个是一定也可以用，但是除了丑之外我想声音效果杂讯什麼的还是会跟原厂设计的声音有所不同。有没有买的必要其实也是见仁见智，我主要是晚上夜深不能开音箱，也不想开电脑的时候就用这个来弹，而且他有一边播放歌曲一边弹的功能，也内建节拍器，算是阳春可以用的小玩具，然後携带方便也是一点，有认识的朋友他常常大陆台湾两边跑，能少带一个音箱都会对他方便非常多。那台湾应该已经买的到了，不过数量没有很多，想买的人可能要到处多问问了。

如果你下载的是个压缩包，里面一堆文件夹，每个文件夹里一堆ksd文件，那么你添加起来就累了，因为guitarrig5不能批量导入。解决的办法？有！有个小窍门！音色包解压后，进入文件夹，在搜索那一栏里输入ksd，那么所有的ksd文件都显示出来了，然后，ctrl+a，全选，哈哈，直接全部拖拽到guitarrig5中左下的音色库中就可以了，要花一点时间，会没有响应，等它完成就可以了。
