影视漫谈：荒岛余生Cast Away 这是一部2000年上映的汤姆.汉克斯Tom Hanks主演的老片子。 2000年真是遥远的过去啊，那时手机刚刚兴起，寻呼机还没有彻底没落，我还困在家乡的小城，为生计一筹莫展，更不知互联网为何物，当然也就根本不知道这世上还有汤姆.汉克斯。更别提现在满世界跑的快递小哥，那时邮政大哥一统江湖，送货上门？那是不可能的，自己拿着包裹单子去邮局提取，有时还要看工作人员的眼色，现在想想这一切真是恍如隔世。 Anyway，汤姆扮演一个联邦快递FedEx的系统工程师，满世界跑业务，日子真是忙忙碌碌风风火火。 不得不提一下电影的开头蛮有意思的，美国本土联邦快递的工作人员开车去客户家上门取件，之后快件坐着飞机，再坐着送件车，被送件员送到收件人手中。收件人是寄件人的丈夫，住在莫斯科，恩，和女朋友。他穿着睡衣出来收件，女朋友穿着睡衣随后也出来，说，恩，这玩意挺美的（en，it"s pretty）。丈夫说：恩，我老婆寄给我的（en，from my wife）。 光看这开头，还以为接下来要讲述什么香艳的爱恨情仇的故事呢。But don"t get misunderstood，感觉这只是导演的一个小小的玩笑。 查克在莫斯科分公司的一番激情的演讲挺有意思。快递业当然是以“快”为准则，所以他慷慨激昂地说： 时间无情地支配着我们 不管我们 健康 还是生病，饥饿还是醉饱 俄国人、美国人还是火星人 时间就像火，既能杀人也能救人 所以每个联邦快递办公室里都有钟 因为我们以时间为中心生活 永远不可对时间置之不理 永远不允许自己犯下失去时间观念的罪行 同时举例说自己从美国孟菲斯寄到莫斯科的快递用了87个小时简直是羞耻： 87小时太长，开天辟地也不用这么长！ 87小时可以推翻国家 发了财又破了产 放在快递业这么发达的当今，跨国快递用了87小时也不算羞耻吧？通常现在国际快递不是最少也得一个星期么。不过联邦快递貌似有自己的飞机和货车，专线专跑，快一点大概也是应该的。 因为工作需要，查克时常飞来飞去，所以，飞机失事了（其实没有因果关系），他掉到海里，被冲到了一个荒岛，开始了他的荒岛求生。 最开始时，他还挺有责任感的，一直没有拆几个捡到的快递盒，而是收起来，放置好。那时他的想法大概是，虽然但是，应该很快被救吧，所以不能乱拆别人的快递。 之后他打捞了与他一起遇难的同事尸体，为生活所迫，他留下了死者的鞋子，因为鞋子小了点儿，他不得不把鞋头割破了，做成了“凉皮鞋”凑合着穿。这个情节是很合理的，但影片里那双“凉皮鞋”切割得太平整了，不符合他只有石片这个工具的设定。这里又很遗憾当初他在机场上与女友道别时，把车钥匙上挂着的多功能小刀也留下了，当时看的时候就想：他得带着这刀啊，好歹也是个工具，万一有用呢。所以随身带点小工具真的是出门tips。 在荒岛上艰难地过了几天后，查克终于开始拆快递了。当时看的时候觉得：这些坐飞机的快递对一个荒岛上的人没啥用啊。后来才发现，其实还是有用的，那些影视带被他做成了绳子；冰刀鞋好歹是利器，帮助他拔了坏牙，还能切割东西；排球则成了他的小伙伴，两个相依为命；礼服裙的纱网做成了鱼网，让他能在海里捕食；离婚协议书则成了引火纸，且，这份协议书大概也是他与女友最终走不到一起的暗喻。 最后一个盒子正要拆开时他停止了，抚摸着盒子上的FedEx的广告语“The World On Time”以及它的图标log，查克的内心应该是百感交集吧，他保留了这个快递。 这个快递里到底装的啥，最后也没揭晓。 这个未拆封的快递，可能隐藏了一些含义： 在荒岛时，它未像其它快递被拆开而完整保留起来，可能意味着在查克的内心，它代表一种能获救的希望和象征，留着它，他总有一天会亲手把它交给收件人，像女友送给他的表一样，鼓励/激励着他活下去。表象征他的爱情，这个快递象征他的career。 结尾并没有揭晓这个快递，可能意味着查克完美结束了他曾经引以为傲的工作，他，要开启另一段新生活。 他站在十字路口，前面的路开阔悠远。大概象征着新的生活更宽广吧。 荒岛真的很荒，荒到没有可吃的野生动物，只能吃海鲜——如果可以渔到的话。但查克还是活下来，而且从最开始的一坨肥肥的中年人成了一枚精壮肌肉男。据说，电影中途停拍一年，是因为等待汤姆.汉克斯瘦身成功，他瘦了55磅，还留了头发和胡子。头发胡子容易，减掉55磅可不容易，不是节食的减，是健身的减，因为荒岛生存没有衣服，他必须得几乎赤身裸体，所以肉眼可以一身肌肉。真的是：他瘦了，变好看了。 查克最终还是得救了。这个得救怎么说呢，就像有句话说：上帝只救自救之人。查克为了逃离这个荒岛，真的是付出了很多努力：伐木，做漂流用的小筏子，还有重要的绳子，以及重要的帆——这个帆是他在海上捡到的一个飞机（大概，可能）的碎片。帆很重要，因为小筏子需要借助风力才能冲出近岛海域，冲不出那片海域，就永远只能困在荒岛。这应该说是一个知识点了。 查克在海上漂流时遇上暴风雨，失去了相依为命的排球君“威尔逊”。查克失声痛哭。但排球君的离去，可能也是意味着查克终于要结束他的荒岛求生生涯，与荒岛切割。排球君是他荒岛生存的象征。 回到久别的文明 社会 ，女友果然已经另嫁他人。 查克在雨夜拜访女友，两人简直难舍难分，最后依依惜别。 这个 片断 我的感想就是：为什么要结婚呢？不结婚，谈谈恋爱，有一天心中放不下的那个人突然从天而降，那就不会有遗憾了不是吗。心中放着一个人，去跟别人结婚又有什么意思。 ——————————————————————————分割线 题外话： 美国的影视其实相当“正统”，热爱宣扬love ，family，以及藏在之下的忠贞。不客气地说，就是有点守旧。这大概跟它是个移民国家有关。早先它就是欧洲下层people梦想改变命运的“新大陆”，还有大量的被流放去的罪犯。之后一直是移民最多的国家，包括了大量illegal immigrants。以这些人为基础组成的平民阶层，观念守旧完全情有可原，虽然它是个发达国家，但扛不住守旧的人群基数大。就好比我们现在是个文明的现代化国家，但扛不住基数大的那拔人在各个平台宣扬重男轻女接男娃求男娃，人数大声音大，把文明的声音都压下去了。猛一看，还以为回到了哪个古早朝代呢。这就是人多力量大的一个表现。
