英语学习主要有两大困难，一是单词，二是语法。把这两个困难解决了，其他都容易了。我高中英语很差，但是大学阴差阳错进了英语系，然后各种受虐。但是现在英语水平感觉还可以，简单介绍一下学习心得：单词：我大学四年基本上在和不认识的单词打交道，开始的时候看原著，把不认识的单词一个个查出来，然后吃饭时、睡觉前，利用各种零碎的时间背单词，但是感觉效果一般。到大四的时候，为了考GRE，我单词背得挺拼的。我用的是拓词，拓词不是有排行榜吗？我当时就挺热血，每天都拼命冲榜，有一次为了当第一，早上六点起床，背到晚上12点（12清零），中间吃盒饭、上厕所都跑着上。大概坚持了一两个月，感觉效果非常好。听力：我从小就没认真学英语，口语差的要命，听力自然也好不到哪里去。所以我们当时听力考试，同学都不用学习，轻轻松松考高分，我只能每天在自习室里刷听力，真是刷到抓墙，现在想起来，那个自习室真是又冷又潮又寂寞。后来我听力好了一些，开始听BBC，基本上是逐字逐句听，坚持了一两个月。总体来说我听力不大好，还需要练口语：我刚进大学的时候，同学口语都很好，只有我你好都要磕巴半天，然后我就约那些外国人、外教吃饭，开始的时候他们都嫌弃我，甚至让我说中文，让我同学翻译。然后我一直厚着脸皮找他们。愿意和我一块吃饭的外国人基本上都是信教的，他们想让我信教，我就跟着他们读圣经聊神学，然后口语逐渐上去。感觉这些外国人真是有爱心、、、、愿意陪我话都说不清楚的人吃饭聊、吃饭聊、、、阅读：我的阅读还算好，本科的时候坚持读了一些原著，尽管常常看不懂，但是还是坚持看。大一大二的时候比较凶，每个月看十本，虽然基本上在翻页，啥都看不懂。后来去学校图书馆看China Daily,坚持了大半年，有一次看着看着，被关在图书馆里了。。。。后来我辅修要写毕业论文，然后我的导师要求我看大量的外文文献，开始的时候头都看大了，特别痛苦，因为全是术语，又有很多图表啊数据啊，然后后来渐渐习惯了。现在阅读各种类型的原文基本上没啥问题，常常接一些翻译的活。现在我就在翻译国外的著作，赚点钱，又学到很多东西，感觉很好。写作：我的写作主要是考GRE的时候练得比较多，写了，然后找人改。但是个人感觉提高最快的时候是大三暑假，我把新概念三背了一遍，然后把新概念四大部分翻译了一遍，感觉写作的时候流畅了很多。后来我们外教说我的写作风格算挺成熟的。总结起来，我感觉学习英语主要靠坚持。因为语言本身由不同的句式组成，不同的句式又由不同的单词组成。每种语言，都有自己指称事物的语义标签，这就是单词。每种语言，也有规定单词如何构成句式的规则，这就是语法。只有把单词认识了，把语法掌握了，才能运用一门语言。所以无论什么方法，一定要坚持，坚持用各种方法提高词汇量，用各种方法了解语言的规则。只要把握这两个要点，水平一定会提升很快。
