根据甘肃省教育厅公布的消息，甘肃省2023年高考报名人数总数为247848人，比去年增加4600人。其中甘肃文科考生约为8万左右人，甘肃理科考生约为11万左右人。其中，参与普通高考考场编排考生196678人，不参与统一高考考场编排考生51170人，包括高等职业教育分类考试招生综合评价录取23068人，中职升学考试 27965人、消防单招68人，残障生(不参加全国统考)44人。甘肃已经公布新高考改革方案了。下面是甘肃新高考改革方案内容：1.考试科目。合格性考试覆盖普通高中国家课程方案规定的语文、数学、外语、思想政治、历史、地理、物理、化学、生物学、信息技术、通用技术、音乐、美术、体育与健康等14个科目。选择性考试科目包括思想政治、历史、地理、物理、化学、生物学等6个科目，学生可根据自身兴趣、志向、优势和高等学校招生要求，首先在物理、历史中选择1门为首选科目，再从思想政治、地理、化学、生物学中选择2门为再选科目，共选择3门参加选择性考试。普通高中在校学生应在相应科目合格性考试成绩合格的基础上报考选择性考试科目。2.考试内容。合格性考试范围为各学科课程标准确定的必修内容。选择性考试范围为各学科课程标准确定的必修和选择性必修内容。3.考试对象。普通高中在校学生均应参加合格性考试;高中阶段其他学校在校学生和社会人员也可报名参加合格性考试。选择性考试的对象为符合教育部和甘肃省规定的普通高校招生考试报名条件，并已报名参加我省普通高校招生考试的人员。4.考试时间。合格性考试每年组织2次，分别安排在上下学期末。普通高中在校生首次参加考试不得早于高一下学期末，高一年级最多允许考4门，高三上学期结束前须完成全部合格性考试。考生报考合格性考试，成绩合格的科目不允许再次报考，不合格的科目可参加相应学科下一次考试。选择性考试每年组织1次，与统一高考同期举行。普通高中学生在校期间只能参加1次选择性考试。选择性考试成绩当年有效。
