The History of MAYDAYMAYDAY,a famous pop band in Taiwan,formed on March 29,1997 in Taipei. There are five members in the band: a lead singer, Ashin;two guitarists, Monster and Stone; a bassist, Masa,and adrummer,Ming. Except for Ming, the other four members graduated from HSNU; they enjoyed the guiter club of HSNU and have enjoyed, played,and created rock and pop music ever since. MAYDAYhas produced more than four albums since 1997 and all of their albums have been popular in Taiwan , Hong Kong, and China. Thay won both the 1999 best singer award and the best band award on January 10,2000. In November 2001,Ashin,Monster,and Masa went to serve in the army,and Stone went to England for further study ,so MAYDAY had to stop their performances for a while. All of their fans felt very sad and worried then. In August 2003,MAYDAY returned to the stage because all the five members got togeter again. Thousands of fans came to their concert.
