今年夏天，有幸在9个孩子的陪伴下，来到伦敦郊区PGL Swinden营地体验了一把纯正的英式夏令营。 PGL，名字来源于Parents Got Lost（爸爸妈妈靠边儿站）的缩写。作为英国最大的夏令营组织，仅2017年一年，就有70万小朋友走进PGL的19个营地（其中英国本土16个，法国3个）。 我们到来的第一天，看着遍布150英亩营区的各式活动设备，孩子们的第一感觉是“这不就是北京的洼里吗？”（注:洼里是北京一个儿童拓展乐园） 七天活动下来，孩子们每天与来自各地的外国小朋友同吃同住同玩，看外国小孩在到处都是鸭子便便的草地上肆意翻跟头，看外国小孩在不足20度的天气前赴后继地跳到划船的湖里去玩水，看外国小孩穿着短裤风雨无阻地玩耍，看外国小孩一会儿爬到衣柜顶上一会儿钻到床底下找乐子，看英籍教练孩子似的和他们一起疯一起玩儿……刚参加完国内某机构组织的千岛湖夏令营的彤彤和莱莱小朋友总结:英国的夏令营更“野”，英国的孩子“更自由”。如孩子们所言，在项目设计和实施方面，PGL充分尊重孩子的天性，但这并不意味着他们会疏于对于孩子营地安全与集体融入的照顾责任。 白天，每12个小朋友会由一个Group Leader（有点类似于生活老师）负责他们一日从早上7点起床到晚上9点睡觉所有的生活起居。漂亮的Group Leader会为不会扎辫子的小女孩编漂亮的小辫，帅气的Group Leader会冷不丁地从背后把淘气的小朋友举过头顶，收获一阵尖叫后直呼再来。 晚上，会有另一个夜班的Group Leader负责晚上9点至早上7点的值夜，随时响应组内小朋友的任何夜间需求。对，他们就直接坐在楼道里，不会错过孩子们的每一个需求。 每天中午，营地的小便利店都会对孩子们短暂开放。在这里，孩子们不仅可以买到一些糖果小吃，更有worry stone（担心石头）, friendship bracelets（友谊手链）等这种可以自我安抚或者相互鼓励的小玩意儿。所有商品价格都在0.1到5镑之间，非常适合孩子们自由选购。 第一天的新奇过后，第二天开始陆续有不少外国小孩因为想家而哭泣或者不肯睡觉，值夜的老师会在楼道里抱着想家的小朋友给他们讲故事，聊天，直到孩子们一个个睡去。 第三天，更多人开始想家，值夜老师的一对一安抚变成了故事会。但自始至终，没有家长来探视或者中途接走孩子。天知道这些半夜不睡觉的小朋友是为了听故事还是真的想家，反正第四天、第五天……夜晚的楼道里又逐渐恢复安静。 我们看到，并不是国外的小朋友天生就独立自主。每个小朋友都会有第一次离家的经历，都会有从新奇、思念再到适应，成长不就是这么一个过程嘛。 面对趣味而有挑战的各式高空项目，几乎所有的孩子都恨不得“try it again”（再来一次）。 而对于恐高的乐乐小朋友来讲，几乎所有的脚离开地面的活动对她来讲都是巨大挑战。可是，面对七天所有活动中唯一重复两次的zip wire（高空溜索）项目，乐乐不想像第一次一样轻言放弃。 于是，在全队小朋友的鼓励下，乐乐先是壮了壮胆子爬上了近30米的溜索的塔楼。然而，往下看一眼就近乎晕厥的她开始拒绝沿着索道溜下去。 地面上，同组的依依和珂珂不住地为她加油，其它外国小朋友也为她呐喊助威。塔楼上，陪同的教练也不住地鼓励她。十几分钟过去了，乐乐始终不敢迈出第一步。 地面辅助的教练建议依依和珂珂去塔楼上为乐乐加油，于是已经脱下装备的两个小朋友重又戴上头盔爬到了塔楼上，中英文夹杂的加油声从地面汇织到塔楼，四十分钟以后，乐乐终于闭上眼睛纵身一跃滑了下去。从教练到小朋友，从地面到塔楼，欢呼声一片。这时，离原定的项目结束时间已经过去了十几分钟，而原本跃跃欲试要溜两次的小朋友们也和乐乐一样欢呼雀跃，早已忘记自己心心念念的“再来一次”。第一天在餐厅遇见一个妈妈推着一个坐在轮椅上的小孩，我们一致认为这应该是来考察营地的visitor。 然而，接下来几天我们在营地陆续遇到过几个坐在轮椅上的孩子，在家人的陪同下旁观各种项目。 和营地的负责人聊起，原来他们也非常欢迎这些身体或者精神异于常人的孩子，在家人的陪同下一同感受同龄人的快乐。营地并不因为孩子的某些缺陷而拒绝他们参与正常孩子的活动，家长也并不把自己孩子当特殊儿童看待，而那些行动自如的孩子们，更没有用丝毫异样的眼光看待这些孩子。 原本，我们的世界就是这个样子。 入营当天，有爱的Group Leader就会和孩子们之间制定一个Behavior Contract，我们姑且叫它君子协定吧。无论孩子们在营地上多么地放飞自我，一到餐厅或者宿舍，“Excuse me”,“sorry”声此起彼伏，英式绅士风度可见一斑。 我想，不应该让我们的孩子只羡慕别人孩子的自由野性，也应该让我们的孩子明白，对自己行为的自由把控，要建立在不打扰别人、对别人表现应有的尊重的基础上。 诸如此类的思想碰撞，在PGL的营地上随处可见。我想，这也许就是PGL长盛不衰的原因之一吧。

2017年下半年头马的竞选季又要到来了，我对过去的回顾也恰好进行到了2015年6月25日——我第一次观看头马竞选的日子。以下是我那天参加北京AACTP培训师中文演讲俱乐部第一次官员竞选活动的记录。全文一字未改，摘自我的朋友圈，包括相片也是当时用的那些。 《昨夜的精彩》 2015年6月25日，晚19：15—21：35，我们的北京AACTP第16次会议如期举行，内容分两大块：1、LIGO工作坊：《如何打造个人影响力与领导力》,40分钟。2、新官员团队竞选(每人1-2分钟演讲,1分钟问答)，七个团队成员各得其主。我进行了一点小总结： 一、LIGO说了些什么？ LIGO工作坊主题是：《如何打造个人影响力与领导力》，内容分两部分：一、个人影响力和领导力概念的解读：她用三个问题来层层引导，让我们理解了概念，理清了区别，加强了认识： Q1：领导者与管理者 Q2：赋予的权威与获得的权威 Q3：领导VS服务 二、How to become a leader：用“领导力发展的六个维度（HPL）”来告诉我们怎么培养自己的领导力。六个维度各有举例、详细说明，可惜时间有限，否则能阐述更透彻深刻，希望下次给她多点时间： 1、愿景价值 2、方向目标 3、影响带领 4、计划支持 5、优化改进 6、激励认可 我最喜欢听她的头马成长故事，她的马拉松之旅，她的承诺书。在刚刚过往的14天，我天天凌晨看她的读书计划，看她的坚持，看她的好学，看她的分享，看她的自律。LIGO，你是我的榜样。 二、“竞选之夜”我眼中的九大之最： 1、最众望所归的官员：主席姚志玲——自AACTP创会以来，志玲的种种表现大家是有目共睹，不管是个人演讲、主持上的能力，还是在团队建设与领导、协调上的工作，都是可圈可点的。前不久，我已斗胆预测她会是一颗冉冉升起的明星。果不其然，今天，她以“专业、质量、快乐”的三大美好愿景打动了我们，毫无争议地当选了新任主席职位。 2、最切题的竞选辞：教育副主席任春亭——春亭的进步是最大的。今晚的她不只穿着最职业，一身白色套装衬得她肌肤胜雪，而且她的竞选辞相当切题。她讲了两大点：1、我为什么来竞选？——因为我做过VPE助理，因为我想要做得更多！2、我做了什么？接下来我想做什么？说完这些，大家当然对她充满信任。 3、最有号召力的竞选辞：会员副主席任静——任静今晚一袭长裙，非常漂亮。而更漂亮的是她用“我是个热情的人，我是个有持久战斗力的人，我是个想把工作做得更好的人”这一系列的排比句式表达了自己愿意为大家服务的强烈意愿，更用自己的热情向入会的、没入会的所有人发出了共同进步、积极行动的邀请，无悔于会员副主席这个职位。 4、最激烈的职位之争：公关副主席周开珍——今晚的竞争高潮绝对要数公关副主席之争。高义、蒋麒霖、周开珍、朱晓四位竞选者轮番上台，各展其能，最后开珍以其培训师的专业性，和她对未来职位的美好展望而获胜。她说到的三点都切入人心：1、发挥个人和团队的影响力；2、将每次会议所得提炼成知识来教育大家；3、去拜访更多的俱乐部以加强自我和团队的成长。 5、最势均力敌的竞争：秘书长蔡园——秘书长之争在蔡园与文枢两者之中进行。这两个人我是在同一晚认识的，当时蔡园的CC1演讲证明了《我是我》、文枢的CC5演讲完美阐释了《小小安全带》，都让我印象深刻。今晚，他们又碰上了，都很强，都很适合秘书长的角色，最终蔡园以其强悍的发表稿件数量和充分的演讲准备获胜了，而文枢以最为机智的回答：“如果我落选了，就给她做助理！”赢得了所有人的掌声。 6、最幸运的竞选者：财务官杨雯清——财务官的角色没有人和雯清姐竞争，而且竞选当晚她本人居然没有到场，仅仅凭着一份由任静代为朗读的竞选辞，她胜选了！请问：还有人比她幸运吗？但是，我要说：雯清姐的当选也是实至名归的。因为，她从俱乐部创立之初起就积极投入，几乎从末缺席，今天因故未能到场也是情有可原。她演讲时的镇定自如、满身正能量，平日为人处事的稳重贴心，都让人如沐春风，这样的人掌握我们的财政大权，我们放心！ 7、最坚韧的竞选者：接待官朱晓——“妇幼保健朱大夫”朱晓的标签是人所共知，可她其实还有另外一个称号：“拼命三娘”。她努力、积极，多次为我们录像、上传资料。今晚，她又先后竞选公关副主席、接待官，矢志不渝地要为大家贡献力量，最后终于得到了接待官的职位，其实这也是很适合她的性格与诉求的。 8、最吃力而敬业的幕后明星：总主持罗婧——她抱病前来，她幽默串场，她条理清晰地介绍“官员团队职责、我们为什么要选举？选举的规则是什么？”。她管理着北京11个俱乐部，可她不抢任何人的风头，她不张扬，不任性，她的话你得好好听，才能听出其中的好来。她的好，不是表面的好，不是表现方式的好，是内在思维、逻辑性和结构的好。 9、全场最开心、笑到最后的人：Ligo——今晚，Ligo大神不只为我们带来了精彩的工作坊《个人影响力和领导力》，还积极配合进行计票工作。看着台下她的众多门徒激烈竞争，绽放光彩，她乐得合不拢嘴。因为：support by develops people通过支持他人来带领他人成长是她最享受和快乐的事，因为To lead is to serve是她一贯奉行的理念。 其实还有一个人也很开心，那就是我了。因为我完全是来学习与享受的，我要学习LIGO的影响力和自律精神，要学习各位竞选者的演讲技巧。可惜因为照顾家庭的原因我无意参选，期待将来能有机会。不过，我想再也不会有这么好的机会了，今晚可是有四个角色无人竞争，自然当选的呀。 小伙伴们，今晚的表现非常精彩，大家继续努力！加油！把我们的AACTP办成北京最火的培训师俱乐部。

你朝水里扔一块石头，会在水里激起涟漪，它是由水的波动形成的，没瞎的人都见过。 但其实这颗石头还激起了另一种你根本无法感知的涟漪，这种涟漪是由时空的波动形成的，并以光速向四周传播。 在它经过的地方，时空会被拉伸，存在于时空中的一切物体也都会被拉伸，而这种涟漪的名字，各位早就已经耳熟能详了—— 引力波最初是 亨利·庞加莱 于1905年，基于洛伦兹变换提出的设想， 根据庞加莱的推论，一切物体运动时都会产生引力波，所以你无时不刻不被引力波笼罩着 。 可是引力波这玩意儿吧，即看不见，又摸不着，完全找不到证明它的办法，只是从理论上来说，它好像应该有，而且还无处不在。另一个跟它有相同特征的东西是鬼，所以庞加莱就等于提出了个鬼一样的设想。 10年后，爱因斯坦的《广义相对论》横空出世了，这个伟大的理论更明确地预测了引力波的存在，同时也成功地把引力波炒上了热搜，大量嘴炮……哦不是，大量科学家纷纷参与到了引力波的研究和讨论中。 emmm……反正就是围绕有没有引力波这个问题打嘴仗嘛。 而有趣的是，广义相对论明明白白地预测了引力波的存在，爱因斯坦本人却一度跟自己的理论杠上了。 1936年，他给他的朋友——德国物理学家 马克斯·博恩 写了一封信，说他和 内森·罗森 经过仔细研究后，发现 引力波只是引力场方程中体现出来的一个数学假象，实际上根本就不存在。 也是在同一年，他又在 美国物理学会 旗下的科学杂志—— 《物理评论》 上提交了一篇论文，详细阐述了他和罗森的研究结论。大致的意思就是 引力波一旦形成，就会在自身引力的作用下坍缩成奇点，而不会像广义相对论预测的那样，携带着实际能量在空间中传播。 也就是说，爱因斯坦当时的立场是：虽然我的理论表明引力波应该存在，但我亲自证明了引力波没法存在，你说气人不？ 不过这事儿最后没把别人气着，倒是把爱因斯坦自个儿气得不轻。因为他 这篇论文没能通过同行评议，刚发表就被 霍华德·罗伯逊 匿名驳回了 。罗伯逊还在原稿中附上了一份说明，表示论文有错误，让爱因斯坦自己拿回去检查修改，颇有一种你懂个der的广义相对论，好好想想自己错在哪的感觉。 这事儿一出，可把爱因斯坦给气坏了，论文被驳回了不说，还不知道是谁干的，所以他发誓以后再也不在《物理评论》上发表论文了。 好在当时身为爱因斯坦助手的波兰物理学家—— 利奥波德·英费尔德 ，跟罗伯逊一直有来往，于是在他的周旋和调解下，爱因斯坦终于接受了罗伯逊的意见，经过重新计算后，认同了引力波的存在。 当然，爱因斯坦自始至终都不知道罗伯逊就是驳回他论文的人，假如他知道的话……呃……我也不知道会发生什么。 不过 爱因斯坦尽管承认了引力波的存在，却始终认为引力波微弱得根本不可能被探测到 ，而在这个问题上，爱因斯坦其实是对的，就引力波的微弱程度来说，它的确不可能被探测到。 我知道我这么说，一定会有很多人忍不住想问一句，诶，哥们儿，你是不是村里还没通网呢，那玩意儿不是2015年就已经被LIGO探测到了吗？谁说探测不到了？ 的确， 引力波目前已经被LIGO先后探测到了两次 ，但这事儿吧，不能说爱因斯坦太低估后代的本事了，只能说那帮搞引力波的物理学家实在是太牛批了，他们是 真正意义上的完成了一件根本不可能完成的任务。 注意，我说的是“真正意义上的不可能”，意思就是我绝对没有夸大其词或故意渲染。 因为很多人都知道， LIGO是由两条相互垂直的4公里长的金属管道组成的 ，而它当时探测到的信息，是其中一根管道在引力波经过的瞬间，发生的 10的21次方分之一 的拉伸。这个数字意味着这条管道当时被拉伸的长度，仅仅只有一个质子直径的1/1000。 质子是组成原子核的亚原子粒子，原子核的体积只有原子的几千亿分之一，而质子比原子核还小得多，那你想想，它的直径的千分之一是什么概念？ 如果你实在想不出来，那就这么说吧， 你哪怕站在LIGO的干涉臂旁边大喊一声，它的振幅都比那次引力波造成的拉伸要大出上千亿倍。 这么微小的长度变化，仅仅只是想测量出来就已经难如登天了，而想到了足够灵敏的办法之后，还必须从各种环境干扰中把引力波的信号区分出来，这更是无异于痴人说梦。 举个例子来说， 我把你关在一个木桶里，然后朝木桶上滴一滴水，你需要通过木桶的振动测量出这滴水是何时落下的，而最重要的是，这个木桶被放在磅礴大雨中。 也就是说，你必须想办法在木桶一直被雨淋着的情况下，通过几乎不存在的细微振动把一滴特定的水测量出来——这就是LIGO需要完成的任务。所以探测引力波看起来是多不可能的事情，也就可见一斑了。 正因如此，LIGO计划刚被提出的时候，很多人都表示—— 然而就是这种看上去根本不可能完成的任务，在2015年9月14日的那一天，被LIGO完成了——当这个消息被宣布出来的时候，全世界都为之沸腾了。 曾经的天方夜谭，如今成为了现实，人类终于在捕捉引力波这件事情上见到了曙光，随之迎来的是欧洲的 爱因斯坦望远镜计划 、美国的 宇宙 探索 者计划 、日本的 KAGRA计划 ，以及中国的 阿里计划、太极计划、天琴计划 等一系列引力波探测计划的提出，引力波研究从以往的纸上谈兵，一下子迈入了百家争鸣的全新时代。 可问题是，我们为什么一定要费尽心思，且不惜重金地去捕捉这么微弱的信号呢？ 当我们仰望夜空的时候，除了明月和那些璀璨的繁星，剩下的就是无边无际的黑暗，然而在这些看似空无一物的空间里，却隐藏了许多人类苦苦追寻的答案。 宇宙自大爆炸之日起，就无时不刻不在发生着一些事情 ，譬如星系的形成、天体的消亡、黑洞的碰撞、乃至宇宙本尊的诞生。 它们有的是刚发生的，有的发生在距今几百万年、几千万年、甚至几十亿或上百亿年前，而 与这些事件有关的信息，并不一定都会以电磁波的形式辐射出来，或者它们辐射出来的电磁波由于种种原因，永远也无法来到地球 。 对于这类事件，我们哪怕建造出再先进的天文望远镜，也无济于事。 这就好比捂住你的耳朵，再把你扔进一个黑漆漆的洞穴里，那么在洞穴的阴暗处发生的任何事情，你都将一无所知。可是一旦有了声音，你就能靠光线之外的另一种信息载体，窥见到这些秘密了。 而 引力波恰恰就有着与声音十分相似的特性，它携带着信息在空间中传播，又很难像电磁波一样被物体阻挡 ，所以它能把许多电磁波无法带来的古老信息呈现给我们，让我们有了窥探更多宇宙事件的机会。 譬如LIGO探测到的首个引力波信号，就让我们知道了 宇宙中不仅存在双黑洞系统，它们碰撞后还合并成了一个更大的新的黑洞 ，而这场发生在13亿年前的古老事件，只有引力波才能告诉我们，因为那是两个黑洞之间的故事，电磁波连从它们身上逃走的机会都没有。 所以研究引力波具有无比非凡的意义，引力波探测技术的突破，以及引力波观测站的建立，就如同让我们在有了天文望远镜这个千里眼之后，又多了一双顺风耳。
