Another interesting aspect is how, through the use of punctuation and alliteration, Yeats slows down the tempo of the iambic pentameter so the reader can actually feel the addressee"s age. The poem is narrated by one who has loved a beautiful woman; presumably, in this case, the addressee is Yeats"s own unrequited love, Maud Gonne. I will examine each of the quatrains to demonstrate that Yeats has interjected himself into this poem by the use of allusion and connotative diction without having to use the first person singular.The first quatrain introduces the reader to the subject and the first line sets the tempo for the rest of the poem. In addition to his use of commas, Yeats utilizes the word “and” six times in this section, which slows the pace:When you are old AND grey AND full of sleep,AND nodding by the fire, take down this book,AND slowly read, AND dream of the soft lookYour eyes had once, AND of their shadows deep;If he had written: “When you are old, grey, full of sleep nodding by the fire” the pace would have been quicker and would not impart the feeling of age and melancholy he is obviously trying to convey. The terms “slowly read,” “dream,” “soft look,” and “shadows deep” denote an impression of other-worldliness, a period between waking and deep sleep when time is no longer relative and memories hover around the edge of darkness. In addition, the sibilant sounds of “sleep,” “slowly,” “soft,” and “shadows” imparts a sense of somnolence. CRM在企业管理中的作用:CRM（CustomerManagement）客户关系管理，是伴随着因特网和电子商务的大潮进入中国的。Oracle于两年前就在中国开始了客户关系管理（CRM）的市场教育和普及工作。CRM(CustomerManagement)，即客户关系管理。这个概念最初由GartnerGroup提出来，而在最近开始在企业电子商务中流行。CRM的主要含义就是通过对客户详细资料的深入分析，来提高客户满意程度，从而提高企业的竞争力的一种手段，它主要包含以下几个主要方面(简称7P)：客户概况分析(Profiling)包括客户的层次、风险、爱好、习惯等；客户忠诚度分析(Persistency)指客户对某个产品或商业机构的忠实程度、持久性、变动情况等；客户利润分析()指不同客户所消费的产品的边缘利润、总利润额、净利润等；客户性能分析(Performance)指不同客户所消费的产品按种类、渠道、销售地点等指标划分的销售额；客户未来分析(Prospecting)包括客户数量、类别等情况的未来发展趋势、争取客户的手段等；客户产品分析(Proct)包括产品设计、关联性、供应链等；客户促销分析(Promotion)包括广告、宣传等促销活动的管理。最早发展客户关系管理的国家是美国，在1980年初便有所谓的“接触管理”(ContactManagement)专门收集客户与公司联系的所有信息。到1990则演变成包括电话服务中心支持资料分析的客户关怀（Customercare）。从管理科学的角度来考察，客户关系管理源于（CRM）市场营销理论；从解决方案的角度考察，客户关系管理（CRM），是将市场营销的科学管理理念通过信息技术的手段集成在软件上面，得以在全球大规模的普及和应用。市场营销作为一门独立的经济学科已有将近百年的历史。近几十年来，市场营销的理论和方法极大地推动了西方国家工商业的发展，深刻地影响着企业的经营观念以及人们的生活方式。近年来，信息技术的长足发展为市场营销管理理念的普及和应用开辟了广阔的空间。我们看到，信息技术正在迅猛地扩张其功能，正在用从前科幻小说描写过的方式进行思维推理。在有些方面，信息技术的智能正在取代人类的智能。它不仅仅是一个软件，它是方法论、软件和IT能力综合，是商业策略。在不同场合下，CRM可能是一个管理学术语，可能是一个软件系统，而通常我们所指的CRM，是指用计算机自动化分析销售、市场营销、客户服务以及应用支持等流程的软件系统。它的目标是缩减销售周期和销售成本、增加收入、寻找扩展业务所需的新的市场和渠道以及提高客户的价值、满意度、赢利性和忠实度。CRM项目的实施可以分为3步，即应用业务集成，业务数据分析和决策执行。①应用业务集成。将独立的市场管理，销售管理与售后服务进行集成，提供统一的运作平台。将多渠道来源的数据进行整合，实现业务数据的集成与共享。这一环节的实现，使系统使用者可以在系统内得到各类数据的忠实记录，代表目前真实发生的业务状况。②业务数据分析。对CRM系统中的数据进行加工、处理与分析将使企业受益匪浅。对数据的分析可以采用OLAP的方式进行，生成各类报告；也可以采用业务数据仓库(BusinessInformationWarehouse)的处理手段，对数据做进一步的加工与数据挖掘，分析各数据指标间的关联关系，建立关联性的数据模型用于模拟和预测。这一步所取得的结果将是非常重要的，它不单反映业务目前状况同时也对未来业务计划的调整起到指导作用。③决策执行。依据数据分析所提供的可预见性的分析报告，企业可以将在业务过程中所学到的知识加以总结利用，对业务过程和业务计划等做出调整。通过调整达到增强与客户之间的联系，使业务运作更适应市场要求的目的。在传统企业引入电子商务后，企业关注的重点由提高内部效率向尊重外部客户转移。而CRM理念正是基于对客户的尊重，要求企业完整地认识整个客户生命周期，提供与客户沟通的统一平台，提高员工与客户接触的效率和客户反馈率。一个成功的客户关系管理系统至少应包括如下功能：通过电话、传真、网络、移动通讯工具、电子邮件等多种渠道与客户保持沟通；使企业员工全面了解客户关系，根据客户需求进行交易，记录获得的客户信息，在企业内部做到客户信息共享；对市场计划进行整体规划和评估；对各种销售活动进行跟踪；通过大量积累的动态资料，对市场和销售进行全面分析。实施CRM时候要注意一点，就是要设置好收集信息的机制，要收集有用的客户资料和信息，对于无用的信息则要丢弃。在CRM中客户是企业的一项重要资产在传统的管理理念以及现行的财务制度中,只有厂房、设备、现金、股票、债券等是资产。随着科技的发展，开始把技术、人才视为企业的资产。对技术以及人才加以百般重视。然而，这种划分资产的理念，是一种闭环式的，而不是开放式的。无论是传统的固定资产和流动资产论，还是新出现的人才和技术资产论，都是企业能够得以实现价值的部分条件，而不是完全条件，其缺少的部分就是产品实现其价值的最后阶段，同时也是最重要的阶段，在这个阶段的主导者就是客户。在以产品为中心的商业模式向以客户为中心的商业模式转变的情况下,众多的企业开始将客户视为其重要的资产,不断的采取多种方式对企业的客户实施关怀,以提高客户对本企业的满意程度和忠诚度。我们看到,世界上越来越多的企业在提出这样的理念,例如:“想客户所想”，“客户就是上帝”，“客户的利益至高无上”“市场永远是正确的,客户永远是对的”“观念创新、技术创新、才能持久......方能成为财富长跑着”等等。CRM最大程度地改善、提高了整个客户关系生命周期的绩效。CRM整合了客户、公司、员工等资源，对资源有效地、结构化地进行分配和重组，便于在整个客户关系生命周期内及时了解、使用有关资源和知识；简化、优化了各项业务流程，使得公司和员工在销售、服务、市场营销活动中，能够把注意力集中到改善客户关系、提升绩效的重要方面与核心业务上，提高员工对客户的快速反应和反馈能力；也为客户带来了便利，客户能够根据需求迅速获得个性化的产品、方案和服务。客户关怀是CRM的中心在最初的时候，企业向客户提供售后服务是作为对其特定产品的一种支持。原因在于这部分产品需要定期进行修理和维护。例如，家用电器，电脑产品、汽车等等。这种售后服务基本上被客户认为是产品本身的一个组成部分。如果没有售后服务，客户根本就不会购买企业的产品。那些在售后服务方面做的好的公司其市场销售就处于上升的趋势。反之，那些不注重售后服务的公司其市场销售则处于不利的地位。客户关怀贯穿了市场营销的所有环节。客户关怀包括如下的方面：客户服务（包括向客户提供产品信息和服务建议等），产品质量（应符合有关标准、适合客户使用、保证安全可靠），服务质量（指与企业接触的过程中客户的体验），售后服务（包括售后的查询和投诉，以及维护和修理）。在所有营销变量中,客户关怀的注意力要放在交易的不同阶段上,营造出友好、激励、高效的氛围。对客户关怀意义最大的四个实际营销变量是：产品和服务（这是客户关怀的核心）、沟通方式、销售激励和公共关系。CRM软件的客户关怀模块充分地将有关的营销变量纳入其中，使得客户关怀这个非常抽象的问题能够通过一系列相关的指标来测量，便于企业及时调整对客户的关怀策略，使得客户对企业产生更高的忠诚度。客户关怀的目的是增强客户满意度与忠诚度国际上一些非常有权威的研究机构,经过深入的调查研究以后分别得出了这样一些结论,“把客户的满意度提高五个百分点,其结果是企业的利润增加一倍”；“一个非常满意的客户其购买意愿比一个满意客户高出六倍”；“2/3的客户离开供应商是因为供应商对他们的关怀不够”；“93%的企业CEO认为客户关系管理是企业成功和更有竞争能力的最重要的因素”；如同企业的产品有生命周期一样,客户同样也是有生命周期的。客户的保持周期越长久,企业的相对投资回报就越高,从而给企业带来的利润就会越大。由此可见保留客户非常非常重要。保留什么样的客户,如何保留客户是对企业提出的重要课题。企业的客户成千上万,企业对如此多的客户又了解多少呢?不了解客户就无法对客户加以区别。应该采取何种措施来细分客户,对细分客户应采取何种形式的市场活动,采取何种程度的关怀方式,才能够不断地培养客户的满意度,这是企业传统客户关系管理面临的挑战。
