PATA与SATA技术方面的区分 PATA的全称是Parallel ATA，就是并行ATA硬盘接口规范，也就是我们现在最常见的硬盘接口规范了。PATA硬盘接口规模已经具有相当的辉煌的历史了，而且从ATA33/66一直发展到ATA100/133，一直到目前最高的ATA150。SATA硬盘全称则是Serial ATA，即串行ATA硬盘接口规范。目前PATA100硬盘的一般写入速度为65MB/s，而第一代SATA硬盘的写入速度为150MB/s，第二代SATA硬盘的写入速度则高达300MB/s，第三代SATA硬盘已经提升到了600MB/s。其传输速度是PATA所不能比拟的。SATA硬盘接口规范的出现其实就要取代PATA，就和DDR取代SDRAM一样。 SATA的出现是来取代PATA的，那么SATA和PATA相比，主要的优势究竟又在那里呢？首先就是速度，这是最主要的。上文我们已经提到第二代SATA的传输速度为300MB/s，第三代的SATA产品的传输速度为600MB/s。从速度这一点上，SATA已经远远把PATA硬盘甩到了后面。另外，在传输方式上SATA也比PATA高人一等。SATA采用的是单通道传输，PATA是多通道传输。有些朋友可能从字面上误认为，PATA的多通道应该比SATA的单通道快，其实不然.因为SATA的单数据通道并没有象PATA那样限制速度频率。SATA传输线的传输速度比PATA要快了近30倍。PATA必须在数据线中一次传输16个信号，如果信号没有及时到达或是发生延迟，错误数据就会产生。因此比特流传输的速度必须减缓以纠正错误。而SATA一次只传输一个比特的数据，此时比特流的传递速度要快得多。这就好比是运球游戏，每次运一个球要比一次运16个球容易的多。还有，SATA另一个进步在于它的数据连线，它的体积更小，散热也更好，与硬盘的连接相当方便。与PATA相比，SATA的功耗更低，这对于笔记本而言是一个好消息，同时独有的CRC技术让数据传输也更为安全。 频率低的时候,并口优势大,可当频率提升,并口的电器性能就比不上串口了,当串口能正常运行的频率远高于并口能承受的时候,自然就超越它了.另外象现在用的并行内存架构,特别是双通道(128BIT)主板制造难度大,几乎达到了极限,提升内存频率只会对走线提出更严苛的要求,如果不是硬件商不想冒风险全部替换生产线,我们现在应该用性能高变态的RAMBUS的XDR了(比起双通道DDR400 6.4GB的带宽,它有102GB,能组成8通道)。 其次，从数据传输角度分析：SATA比PATA抗干扰能力更强。 并行ATA在数据传输时，信号容易产生反射，偏移，而且信号之间还存在着干扰。 SATA采用一种叫差分信号传输，打个比方，把数字5传输到另一个设备，可能中途遇到干扰，5变成了6；如果把5分成两条线路，一条是8，一条是3，让两者之间的差来代表5，中途受到干扰，分别变成9跟4，但差值还是5，所以具有较强的抗干扰能力。因而传输率可以达到很高，所以宽带也就增强了。 另外，SATA所具备的热插拨功能是PATA所不能比的，利用这一功能可以更加方便的组建磁盘阵列。串口的数据线由于只采用了四针结构，因此相比较起并口安装起来更加便捷，更有利于缩减机箱内的线缆，有利散热
