第一个such用来形容animals,因为这里的little只能是“小”的意思,不可能是“少”的意思,因为animals用了复数,因此such是用来形容名词animal的,而不是little的,故这里不能用so,用了so就变成形容little的了,语法不对.
第二个用so是用来形容little,指食物so little,so是副词,可用来形容形容词和副词,指食物如此之少.
不过这句话我读不懂,不知道为什么这么小的动物一天吃这么少的食物?小和少没有矛盾啊,这有什么不能相信的!
