6 CONCLUSIONS
In this paper the authors introduce the novel concept of a universal manufacturing platform to support CNC manufacturing.The overall architecture of the platform
and the supporting data models together with a prototype implementation is presented.The prototype implementation demonstrates the functionality of the platform in eliminating the need for vendor specific information transformation.While the current prototype is limited in the scope of transformations,it can be extended to support additional manufacturing processes,CAD/CAM systems and non feature based component definitions.A standardised approach for representation of manufacturing resource capabilities is also imperative for the full implementation of a comprehensive manufacturing platform.
The proposed platform complements the STEP-NC standard by extending its data models to support non STEP-NC compliant manufacturing systems.It can
herefore be utilised to increase the commercial appeal of STEP-NC.
The Feature based demonstration highlights the possible performance gains and resource savings of zero time manufacturing information changeover that can beachieved by migrating from postprocessors to a standardised knowledge based platform.

7.Conclusions
Questions regarding the evolving U.S.financial environment are likely to become increasingly important as bank deregulation moves to new plateaus.Still,evidence about how factors such as bank consolidation affect the provision of traditional banking services is difficult to produce.Bank consolidation is inherently a complex phenomenon that affects bank customers in the particular markets for the banking services that they seek.Given the evolution of bank product markets,small business lending is likely to be one of the few products that will remain relatively local in nature.The characterization of local consolidation activity we present in this paper yields interesting evidence about consolidation-related loan growth patterns at the local market level.In the 1994±1997 study period,we find that big organization consolidations had
adverse effects on small business loan growth,while community bank presence and community bank merger activity were positively related to local small business credit availability.These results are broadly consistent with bank-level evidence regarding the effect of scale and credit culture on small business lending.The presence of community banks also appears to have mattered for local credit availability in this period,as did the competitiveness of the markets where acquisitions were taking place.We find less in the way of negative consolidation effects in markets where the ex ante community bank market share was high or where market concentration was low.These findings suggest
that competition in general or through a strong community bank presence can play a significant role in determining the effects of bank consolidation on the local market.
The general dynamics associated with consolidation activity in small business credit markets appear to have been quite different in the 1997±2000 study period.The relationships we do find indicate that consolidation activity involving big organizations was associated with higher local small business loan growth.

Conclusions
The enzymatic oxidative polymerization of phenol in water
was achieved by the addition of the PEGMDE template.
The polyphenol was obtained in high yields as a precipitated
complex with PEGMDE.The presence of the
PEGMDE template in the aqueous medium greatly improved
the regioselectivity,yielding polyphenol with a
phenylene unit content near 90%.The FT-IR,DSC,and
XRD analyses confirmed the formation of a miscible complex
of polyphenol and PEGMDE by hydrogen-bonding
interaction.The present study also clearly shows that
mainly the carbon-carbon coupling between phenolic
radical intermediates takes place in the presence of
PEGMDE in water.Furthermore,the lack of organic solvents
in the present reaction system is environmentally
friendly.Investigations on the synthesis of new polymeric
materials by the enzymatic polymerization of phenol
derivatives using water-soluble polymers as templates are
under progress in our laboratory.

3 　Conclusions
In this work we have shown that it is possible to shift t he colour point of the YAG:Ce phosphor towards the red by either adding Pr as co-activator or by substituting Y for Gd in t he garnet lattice.Both methods can lead to an improved ‘white’ colour point for pcLEDs that consist of a blue emitting LED in combination with the phosphor,but the luminous efficacy of the phosphor decreases significantly in both cases.
The theoretical limit of the luminous efficacy of SrGa2S4:Eu is ca.500 lm/ W when converting 470nm radiation into green light.Samples of Sr2Ga2S4:Eu have been prepared by solid state and sulphur/hydrazine hydrate synthetic routes,and the latter gave higher luminous efficacies of up to 364 lm/W when excited by 470 nm light .

Conclusions
Three kinds of evaluations were considered in this paper:deterministic,stochastic or fuzzy with relation to each attribute.The mixed-data dominances (MDk) were defined and suggested to model the preferences with relation to each attribute.The global preferences on the set of alternatives are approximated by means of mixed-data multi-attribute dominance rules (MMDR) for a reduced number of attributes.The rules
