题目中明显是批评Tom
你说的needn't,从语法看没什么问题,似乎说的过去,但是,如果题目没有提供其他线索的话,任何情景对话都应该按常理来分析
“把衣服都放在地上”,这是不符合常理的,而且从题目中可以体会,这很有可能是Tom的长辈在和Tom说话,肯定是批评Tom的做法.
而且句子后面用了感叹号“!”,说明语气比较强烈
