Everybody has a name most of which are given by their predecessors.That is to say you don't have another choice for your own name just like your birth.Some like their names while some don't.
I like my name because for me,a name is just a symbol.It may not be unique,nor special,but it has been connected to me ever since I was born.Some say that a good name can bring you good luck.However,I think that's too superstitious.True success will come only after your consecutive hardwork.My name in Chinese has the same pronunciation as a kind of tree.Yet it is very common because a lot of people are named the same.In spite of the many same names,I still like my name.Because a tree is very strong and don't even shake in the wind and rain.So it tells me that I should do the same.No matter what kind of difficulty is in my way,I shall keep myself together and try to overcome it.
In a word,a name is just a name.We shall all try to protect it because it's a legacy that our parents leave us eternally.
