英语中的习惯用法,记住可以这样用,汉语中不也是说“这个故事讲的是.”,而不是说“这个故事被讲的是.”,整个句子是用tell的现在分词词组作后置定语修饰story：“一个讲述.的故事”

telling stories中的telling是动词的ing形式,当做动词来使用
而story telling中的telling是当做名词来使用的

动名词的复合结构有四种形式：①形容词性物主代词＋动名词；②名词's＋动名词；③代词宾格＋动名词；④名词＋动名词.
story telling是第四种.
