一般我们说起谈论某人某事多用的是talk about。很少见到speak about. 今天又这样两道题
1 .The new job I got gave my neighbours something to ____about .
2. Sarah: What did he say when he ____ about me?
Sam: He never _____ about you in front of me.
一种资料上给的答案是talk ,另一种资料的答案是speak .
我的问题是这里究竟能不能用speak 呢？
个人认为，talk 侧重于交谈，谈论，speak 侧重于发言，或者说公共场合的讲话，或者说speak to sb.
在查询时看到有这样的报道Bush Speak About Iraq Power Transfer ,好像是来源于VOA的，虽然有这样的搭配，但是在这样两个题目中是不是用TALK 好。虽然说语言具有随意性，但是用词如果能更准确点似乎更好，所以向确定一下能不能否定speak?
