这个加不加the都是可以的,first place和 the first place都有“第一名、冠军”的意思.
是序数词前面加the,不是基数词,你打错字了.序数词前面也不是非得加the,只能说大多数情况下要加the.但是在英语的惯用法中有的也不加the.
