how does spermatogenesis differ from oogenesis

1.first spermatocyte generates two secondary spermatocyte but first oocyte generate a secondary oocyte and a primary polocyte during the first meiotic division
2.during the second meiotic division,two secondary spermatocyte form four sperms but the only secondary oocyte results in one ootid and a secondary polar body
