contrast to是动词词组吗?

都不对.Contrast有三种词性：及物动词,不及物动词,和名词.
1.及物动词后面要跟两个宾语(或等价的两件事),是互相比较的意思.如：
Contrast city and country life.
Let's contrast our product with theirs.
你的句子显然不是第一种情况,因为contrast没有跟宾语.
2.不及物动词表示反差：
You and your brother contrast sharply in your interests.
这种情况后面常跟介词in,但是不能跟介词to.
3.名词表示反差：
The contrast between you and your brother is sharp.
名词contrast后面可以跟介词with、between、或to.
所以你的句子是第三种情况.但是它的语法是错的,因为逗号前的状语短语不能由名词来打头.其实它少了一个介词in.In contrast to是固定搭配的用法.改过的句子是：
In contrast to the rapid and astonishing development in various Subjects,the way of measuring knowledge and ability remains as before,rather primitive.
