I thought the film was a well done film.I thought that the makeup on Kate was very distracting.Hollywood did take license completely rewrite the ending from the book.
The interaction between the family members was very well done.I felt huge remorse for lack of normality for the two children,who were not sick.That is what smacked as so real.I loved Alec Baldwin as the attorney.His character was everything you wanted him to be.Most of all I really loved the sweetness between Taylor (a young man who was also receiving chemo therapy) and Kate.There was a wonderful chemistry between them.
I would suggest seeing this film.
