Do u love life?Then do not squander time;for that's the stuff life is made of.大家也许都读过这句名言,对,它就是美国president"Benjamin Franklin"说的.可是我有一处不懂,就是“for that's the stuff life is made of”这句话.我知道that's the stuff life.中的that's是指“时间”,stuff life这两个字的意思是“生命的材料”.那“that's the stuff life ”就是：时间是生命的材料（生命是有时间组成的）.可是后半句：“is made of”我就不懂了.be made of这三个字是“由什么制造的意思”.比如：A glasses is made of glass.而生命是由时间组成的：Life is made of time.or Time is the stuff life.而在 Time is the stuff life后面加上is made of三个字就变成了：Time is the stuff life is made of.我怎么读都读不懂.我想是有些grammar我还不知道.请会英文的人士帮忙解答.
还有一句也是Franklin说的：Never leave that until tomorrow,which u can do today.此句中的Never leave that until tomorrow读不懂.比如：He does never eat the fruit until seeing the monkey to eat.直到看到那些猴子吃,它才吃.那Never leave that until tomorrow,which u can do today.这句意思就应该是：今天你能做的,直到明天才剩下.I know the meaning that Franklin uncle wanna appear is,do not leave any thing which u can do today to tomorrow.Please help me analyze and settle problems.Thanks so much.
