要看语境.
January-December就是读to.
如果是构成复合形容词（如cat-like,environment-friendly,eco-friendly）,就不要读出来了.
这就好像中文的标点符号一样,在构词中起作用就不用读,但是像破折号起到“从……到……”的作用的时候就要读出来,读“至”或者“到”.
