In this section,only risk factors affecting the choice of a DRM in the contract between the general contractor and the owner will be discussed and incorporated into the proposed DRM-to-Risk matrix.Table 1 summarizes the choice of a DRM that is recommended depending on the risks involved in an international project by using a DRM-to Risk matrix.The relationship of the risks to the choice of the DRM as defined in the matrix is based on viewing the risks factors as threats to the international contractor (negative impact) rather than opportunities (positive impact).
