《潇湘图》可以用两种方法翻译


直译：指湖南境内的潇河和湘江


　　the painting of The Xiao and Xiang Rivers


意译：《湖光山色》


　　Beautiful Livers and Mountains;
　　Landscape of Livers and Mountains


作者就是指“某某创作”.如果是文学作品,用 written by …；如果是音乐作品,用 composed by …,如果是画作,用 painted by ….其实 written、compose、painted一类的动词习惯上都省略.
