Karl Heinrich Marx was born on May 5th, 1818 in the city of Trier, Germany to a comfortable middle-class, Jewish family. His father, a lawyer and ardent supporter of Enlightenment liberalism, converted to Lutheranism when Marx was only a boy in order to save the family from the discrimination that Prussian Jews endured at the time. Marx enjoyed a broad, secular education under his father, and found an intellectual mentor in Freiherr Ludwig von Westphalen, a Prussian nobleman with whom Marx discussed the great literary and philosophical figures of his day. Notably, it was Westphalen who introduced the young Marx to the ideas of the early French socialist Saint-Simon. As a student in Bonn and Berlin, Marx was greatly influenced by the philosophy of Hegel. While Marx was impressed with the Hegelian professors under whom he studied, he ultimately found himself attracted to a group of students known as the "Young Hegelians." This group of young iconoclasts, including David Strauss, Bruno Bauer, and Max Stirner, were inspired by Hegel but were determined to champion the more radical aspects of the old master"s system. In particular, these Left Hegelians called into question the conservatism they saw in Hegel"s avowed political and religious philosophies. Although Marx desired a career as an academic at the time, his political sympathies prevented him from receiving an position in the state-controlled university system. Instead, Marx turned to journalism where his radical politics attracted the attention of Prussian censors. The publication for which he worked was shut down for its politically incorrect commentary, and the frustrated Marx traveled to Paris.Paris in 1843 was an international center of social, political, and artistic activity and the gathering place of radicals and revolutionaries from all over Europe. In Paris Marx became involved with socialists and revolutionaries such as Proudhon and Bakunin. Most significantly, though, it was in Paris that Marx met Friedrich Engels, the son of a wealthy textile manufacturer in England who had become a socialist after observing the deplorable condition of workers in his father"s factories. Together, Marx and Engels began to develop the ideas which became Revoultionary Proletarian Socialism, or, as it is better known, Communism. Eventually, Marx was exiled from France in 1845 at the behest of the Prussian government for antiroyalist writings.After leaving Paris, Marx traveled to Belgium where he became involved with a group of artisans calling themselves the Communist League. In 1847 the Communist League commissioned Marx and Engels to pen a statement of their beliefs and aims. This statement became the Communist Manifesto, which Marx zealously composed in anticipation the revolutions of 1848. When revolution did begin in Germany in 1848, Marx traveled to the Rhineland to encourage its progress. When the revolution failed, Marx returned to Paris but soon left for London where he would remain for the rest of his life.Marx waited in London for the fires of revolution to ignite again. In preparation for this, he spent his time in correspondence with revolutionary leaders on the Continent, ignoring the English Chartists and Trade Unionists whom he thought simpleminded and ineffectual. Eventually, Marx realized that the revolution was not imminent, and he withdrew from his associations, burying himself in the British Museum to research the history of class conflict. The fruit of this research was Marx"s great Das Kapital, the first volume of which was published in 1867.Things began to turn around for Marx in 1863 when French workers traveled to England in order to establish a federation of working men pledged to overthrow the economic status quo. Although Marx disagreed with many of the ideological factions in the group, he recognized the significance of this event and left his self-imposed exile to join them. Marx successfully insinuated himself into the leadership of the group, now known as the International, and delivered his famous Inaugural Address to the First International as a triumphant proclamation of his principles. At last Marx had what he had desired since 1847; he had provided the intellectual foundation for a socialist movement over which he exercised full organizational controlMarx"s satisfaction soon ended, however, as the Paris Commune of 1871, the first true instance of workers achieving power for themselves, turned into a bloody disaster. The more pacifistic English workers became frightened and the French movement fell to infighting. The anarchist supporters of Bakunin tried to wrest control of the International from Marx, and the struggle between Marx and the anarchists finally lead to the dissolution of the group in 1876.In the few remaining years of his life, Marx wrote almost no significant works. His stature as the former leader of the International, though, did make him a sought after resource for new revolutionary groups throughout Europe and, in particular, in Russia. Although Marx helped these new leaders as he could, he did not take on any leadership roles in any movement again. Marx died in London in 1883, still awaiting the inevitable revolution which he had predicted.About the Communist ManifestoIn 1846 Karl Marx was exiled from Paris on account of his radical politics. While most of the delegates to this conference advocated universal brotherhood as a solution to their economic problems, Marx preached the fiery rhetoric of class warfare, explaining to the mesmerized workers that revolution was not only the sole answer to their difficulties but was indeed inevitable. The League, completely taken with Marx, commissioned him to write a statement of their collective principles, a statement which became The Communist Manifesto. After the conference, Marx returned to Brussels, carrying with him a declaration of socialism penned by two delegates, the lone copy of The Communist Journal, the publication of the London branch of the Communist League, and a statement of principles written by Engels. Although Marx followed Engel"s principles very closely, the Manifesto is entirely of his own hand. Marx wrote furiously, but just barely made the deadline the League had set for him. The Manifesto was published in February 1848 and quickly published so as to fan the flames of revolution which smoldered on the Continent. When revolution broke out in Germany in March 1848, Marx traveled to the Rhineland to put his theory into practice. When this revolution was suppressed, Marx fled to London and the Communist League disbanded, the Manifesto its only legacy to the world.The Manifesto has lived a long and illustrious life. While it was hardly noticed amongst the crowded field of pamphlets and treatises published in 1848, it has had a more profound effect on the intellectual and political history of the world than any single work in the past 150 years. It has inspired the communist political systems which ruled nearly half the world"s population at its height and defined the chief ideological conflict of the second half of the twentieth century, altering even those countries which stood firmly against communism, e.g. Western European and American Welfare States. 文章投稿杂志后一般先是显示submitted to journal ( 或者是article received, with journal officed等)，然后就是with editor, 在这一步一般有以下几种情况，第二种，进入下一步，一般是主编进行pre-review，也就是来看看你的文章够不够进行审稿的基本条件，如果可以，好，那么指定编辑，此为with editor 2， 如果没有通过，对不起，你此时没有经过审稿就被拒了，这种情况越来越多了，投稿量太大，编辑部顶不住了，审稿人都难找了。水平高的杂志都有这个阶段，也就是只有很少的一部分投稿会安排审稿，所以有时候看到自己的文章号很大，不用担心，有很多文章根本没有审稿就被枪毙了。下一步就是指定的编辑找审稿人了，找到了，ok，under review。

1、Client/Server 架构简析Client/Server是随着PC 性能的和关系数据库的发展，在大型机(Framework)之后兴起的应用软件技术架构。 Client/Server架构由后台的关系数据库服务器和前台的用户程序构成。每个用户前端都需要安装可执行程序。 在C/S架构中，每个前端可执行程序需要与后台服务器建立固定的数据连接(Connection)。 由于需要建立固定的数据连接，并且相对数据传输量较大，C/S架构的程序一般应用在高速局域网(LAN)内。 Client/Server架构的优点是实现简单，在本地访问速度快，不足之处在于不适应远程应用，并且部署和升级工作量大。2、Application/Server 架构简析 Application/Server是一种过渡技术，它能在不改变现有应用程序的前提下，通过MTS等技术，实现应用程序的集中部署和远程访问。 Application/Server 由后台数据库服务器、终端服务器(Terminate Services)和用户端的 Terminate Client构成。 应用程序运行在终端服务器上，客户端通过上传键盘和鼠标指令，下载屏幕响应和打印数据流，实现远程应用。 Application/Server架构的优点是便于集中部署，客户端部署简单，不足之处是对终端服务器压力过大，并且，对于远程通信线路的稳定性要求高，用户交互响应速度和远程打印都容易受远程网络压力大。并且，部署终端服务器的License成本相对较高。、 3、Multi-Layer 架构简析Multi-Layer架构，是在C/S基础上发展起来的技术。 Multi-Layer架构之前主要在客户端执行的业务逻辑处理单独放在中间层运行，这样，前端用户界面不需要直接连接数据库服务器，不需要建立固定的数据连接。而处于中间的应用服务器可以基于连接池(Connection Pool)的形式访问数据库，便于控制连接数据和数据库性能。 Multi-Layer 一般可以通过中间层实现前端的自动升级(Auto-Update)，相对容易部署，并且，客户前端与中间层之间通过数据压缩等手段，可以适应远程访问。 Multi-Layer的优点是适应远程访问，用户交互性好，但是Multi-Layer和Client/Server一样，需要每个客户端进行首次安装。 4、Browser/Server 架构简析Browser/Server是所有Internet应用采用的技术架构。 Browser/Server架构适于远程应用，随着的Web Server 和Application Server技术的发展，是目前在internet上应用最广的技术。 Browser/Server架构的优点是构建简单、易于部署，易于升级。但是由于基于HTML文本传输，通信效率相对较低，而基于Browser的操作界面，用户交互性弱，适应于查询和简单的交互，不太适合大量、快速录入和编辑要求的应用环境， 5、Smart Client 架构简析Smart Client是近几年发展起来的，它充分综合了和C/S和B/S的优点。 Smart/Client由后台数据库服务器、 基于Web Server的中间层应用服务器、前端的Thin Client构成。中间层通过Web Services技术进行接口封装，这样，前端和中间就基于XML 进行数据传递。 Smart/Client技术本身支持Auto-Update形式的自动升级、可以基于Web的首次安装等特性。由于Thin Client 和应用服务器之间传递的全部是业务数据，不包含UI 元素，所以，相比B/S，它具有更高的响应速度。

费孝通先生的《乡土中国》出版于1947年，收录的是他在上世纪四十年代后期根据自己在西南联大和云南大学所讲授“乡村社会学”的内容，提炼而成的十四篇文章。《乡土中国》深刻地剖析了前现代中国社会的国情，提出了差序格局，礼俗秩序等等概念，是中国国情、乡情、民情的学术性报告。60年过去了，今天的中国正处于农业国家向工业国家转变、计划性的领导管理向市场化的法制管理的转型期，已然与封建时代的乡土社会相去甚远，但是今天出现的很多问题，权利腐败、人情关系、固步自封的心态，都带有乡土社会的残留。同时，在急速现代化的过程中，我们也丢失了很多优秀的传统，如何处理好传统与现代的关系？《乡土中国》，仍以强烈的现实性再次引起人们的思索。《乡土中国》诞生的年代正值古老的中国逐渐卷入世界体系，无论是在高层的政权更迭还是在百姓的日常生活中，源于西方的现代化的浪潮席卷了这个国家的每一个角落。世世代代的传统习俗被轻易打破，固守了千年之久的观念逐渐瓦解。各种新的思潮互相融合、碰撞，争论空前激烈，从五四到抗战前后，关于中国往何处去的社会文化论战主题层出不穷，诸如东西文化之争，社会主义与资本主义之争，古史辩的论战，全盘西化与中国本位文化的争论等等［1］。在这场学术论战中，一方强调普遍性，坚持马克思主义放之四海皆准的普遍真理；一方强调特殊性，从捍卫中国传统文丝毫没有可取之处，甚至他们自己都会为之自卑。这不单单是人和人之间的傲慢与偏见，而是两种不同社会交替过渡时产生的必然现象。二、 改造的方式文字下乡这部分看似是在探讨乡村的教育问题，实际上是关于如何改造乡土社会，使之适应现代社会的学术争辩。在上世纪三十年代，就有实业家和知识分子在中国农村办了一场轰轰烈烈的社会改造实验。组织扫盲，新建剧场与广播电台，创办报刊等等。这是以“革心”为主轴，试图通过国民素质的整体提高以实现消灭贫困的目的，而费孝通在对江村、渌村考察后提出，发展乡村工业才是摆脱落后面貌的捷径。“平民教育派”和“乡村工业派”在改革的手段上有所不同，但都是温和渐进，反对暴力革命的改良手法。［2］文字下乡即是对“平民教育派”在乡村开展扫盲运动的不同看法。作者认为乡土社会是一个面对面的社会，人与人之间彼此都很熟悉，有事情可以当面说明，不必借助于文字。文字是陌生人社会才需要的工具，是一种间接的，辅助记忆的工具。这样说的确有道理，联系现代社会，人与人之间交往甚至可以不用见面，不用语言。一个短信，邮件，或者文件通知的形式就可以搞定。现代社会是一个信息爆炸的社会，不靠文字记录，人们很难在短时间内将信息加工编码进入长时记忆。这就是为什么我们需要笔记本、记事簿的原因。但在乡土社会，一切都是稳定的，长期不变的，经验积累就可以处理大多数事情，文字的记忆功能也就失去了效用。作者在文末写到，“我绝不是说我们不必推行文字下乡”“提倡文字下乡的人，必须先考虑到语言和文字的基础，否则开几个乡村学校是起不到什么作用的”，费孝通希望选择另外一个突破口——农村企业，这一点在他另外一部著作《江村经济》中有提出，只不过这个设想太超越时代，它的实施更是要在改革开放以后了。三、 乡土社会的巨大惯性第三部分提出了差序格局和礼治秩序的概念，是全书的核心部分，这是对前现代中国农村生存环境和农民生活状况深刻、简约的提炼。乡土社会是稳定的、熟人化的，但并非是对所有成员一视同仁，而是有轻重厚薄的差别，这种差序，形成既定的等级制度，如父尊子卑，君尊臣卑，男尊女卑。乡村社会中的人际关系是不平等的，还带有远近亲疏的人情关系，打个比方，在乡村社会中的人，是以自己为中心，像水的波纹一般，一圈圈推出去，愈推愈远，也愈推愈薄，与自己最亲密的人，在圈子的最内层，与自己关系不那么密切的，在稍微远一些，那些萍水相逢的人关系就更远了。乡土社会中是没有西方式的社会公德和法律意识的，社会公德被维系私人的道德所替代，强调“克己复礼”，就是要通过自身修养的加强来保持这个差序格局，法治被礼治所取代，在稳定的乡村体系中，人们早已形成了一套自己的传统和习俗，形成了自己的价值评判体系。漫长的实践积累下来许许多多的经验，经过祖祖辈辈传承，人们形成了对事物评判的准则，也约定了共同遵守的行为模式，乡村的每个人一出生就在相应的位置上，履行相应的职责。这是一种自动的秩序，是一种无为而治的社会。

日前，上海浦东首个房地产信托基金REITs即将破壳而出的消息引起市场关注。在此前讨论过的众多版本中，最终采取“央行—银监会”版的可能性最大，一旦该方案获批，首个REITs的主要募集对象将是机构投资者，其形式也更类似于一个封闭式的房地产投资私募基金。 “央行—银监会”版领跑近期有媒体披露，“上海版”的REITs方案已报送上海市有关部门，而最终上报的方案不止一个。其一，为浦东新区方面起草的“央行—银监会”方案，涉及金桥集团、外高桥集团、张江集团和陆家嘴集团四家大型国企的物业资源，通过银行间市场发行；其二，采用央行主导模式的“陆家嘴方案”，该方案由陆家嘴集团自行设计，涉及陆家嘴集团旗下的三个楼宇———包括渣打银行大厦、陆家嘴软件园的两幢办公楼宇；最后一个，就是“证监会版”方案，借助交易所市场发行。 分析人士表示，由于此前银监会与央行拟定的《房地产集合投资信托业务试点管理办法》即将完成，国内首个REITs采用“央行—银监会”版可能性最大。《管理办法》规定，REITs将由依法设立的信托公司作为受托机构，通过公开发售信托单位设立房地产集合投资信托。具体的操作路径是：受托机构将向银监会申请信托发行，获得批准后，经受托人申请，中国人民银行核准，信托单位可以在全国银行间市场发行。信托计划的资金实行保管制，资金保管机构由依法设立并取得相应保管资格的商业银行担任。 根据上述定义而拟定的“央行—银监会”版方案中，金桥集团、外高桥集团、张江集团和陆家嘴集团将提供年租金收入可达4.7亿元的物业，把这些物业未来10年的租金收益权“打包”设立信托，然后由发行人委托主承销商，在银行间市场向符合条件的机构投资者发行该信托的租金收益凭证，募集资金总额将达35亿元。以保障顺利发行，此次浦东新区政府邀请了中金公司担任主承销商，并约定由中金公司余额包销。 业内专家表示，与此前“证监会”版REITs相比，“央行—银监会”能规避一些难题，比如法律、税收障碍。证监会版本是希望将物业打包上市，但如何解决该产品的流动性以及产品分红的双重征税都还没有完善的解决方案。而根据《管理办法》草案，未来上市的REITs更类似于一个封闭式的房地产投资私募基金，在银行间市场发行，由机构认购，募资的主要投资方向为境内成熟物业。信托的收益分配，每年不少于一次，而机构持有期不得少于12个月。 市场期待国内首个REITs房地产投资信托基金，是一种证券化的产业投资基金，它通过发行股份或受益凭证，吸引社会大众投资者的资金。 用益信托工作室首席分析师李旸表示，由于REITs一般规定要将相关房地产90%的出租收入作为股息派发，因此一直被视为是注重派息回报的投资产品—————而这样的产品，对于填补投资者在多元化投资上的短板意义重大。 实际上，国内信托公司很早便开始探索REITs的运作模式。在现行的房地产信托产品中，不仅有向开发建设的房地产项目提供贷款类信托，还有一类用信托资金购买房地产的全部和部分产权，靠经营房地产来获得收入权益信托，后者便是一种准REITs。“类REITs实际上是基金型的房产投资信托计划，这类产品早在2005年就已出现，不过去年以来REITs产品越来越被投资者所接受，因此类REITs产品开始受热捧。”李旸表示，去年以来，百瑞信托和北京信托分别推出的系列基金型房地产投资信托产品都较具代表性。 目前多个地方政府都在积极推动REITs，北京、上海和天津都有可能成为REITs首批试点城市。上海金融服务办相关负责人表示，目前浦东的REITs方案还需等待中央部委的批复，在获得明确答复之前，上海还需多加准备。 Recently, Shanghai Pudong"s first Real Estate Investment Trust REITs market will soon hatched have aroused concern. Abstract A Product–Delay algorithm is presented for creating graphic designs on a computer. In this algorithm two functions u(t) and v(t) are multiplied yielding a function x(t). Another function y(t) is formed by delaying or advancing x(t) by a fixed amount of time t. These functions are evaluated over a suitable time interval and the results are plotted in the x–y plane. For appropriate choices of the functions and parameters, the x–y displays exhibit interesting geometric patterns. In this paper the algorithm is illustrated with a pair of sine and square waves. By virtue of its simplicity this algorithm can be programmed easily and quickly using general purpose software such as Maple, Matlab or Mathematica. Introduction It has long been recognized that mathematics and computers can be used in a complementary fashion for the creation of visual arts. Several mathematical methods have been developed over the years for generating graphic designs on the computer. The methods range from simple iteration schemes such as fractal generation techniques to solving systems of differential equations of nonlinear dynamics and chaos[1, 2]. In this paper we will present a different methodology for creating graphic designs using computers. This methodology is based on the idea of Lissajous figures and is referred to as the Product–Delay algorithm. It will be seen that with these simple waveforms the Product–Delay algorithm can produce a multitude of interesting geometric patterns. Our formulation is based on multiplying two functions u(t) and v(t), yielding a new function x(t). It is convenient to think of the variable t as time. The function x(t) is delayed or advanced by a fixed amount of time. The resulting function y(t) is plotted against x(t) in a phase-plane like representation. For suitable choices of the functions and parameters, the x–y displays exhibit a rich variety of geometric patterns. We will appropriately call this procedure the Product–Delay algorithm. The concept of a time delay is often used in nonlinear signal processing applications including the analysis of chaotic dynamics. The purpose is to construct a phase portrait from the measurement of the time series of a single system variable. In these applications the original time series is delayed by a certain amount of time. The original time series and the delayed series are plotted to construct a phase portrait of the system dynamics[3]. The notion of a discrete time delay has also been used recently in a different context[4]. All the computations reported in this paper are performed using the software Maple V (Release 4) on a SUN Ultrasparc workstation. They can also be carried out with other general purpose software such as Matlab or Mathematica, and on different platforms such as IBM PC compatibles, Macintosh computers and other workstations. 2. Pattern formation with sine and square waves To begin with our development we consider a simple combination of sine and square waves. In particular, we take u(t)=a1+sin(2 πf1t), (1) v(t)=a2+sin(2 πf2t)/|sin(2 πf2t)|. (2) Here the vertical bars denote the absolute value of the function inside them. The function u(t) is a sine wave of amplitude unity, frequency f1 and offset a1, whereas the function v(t) represents a square wave of amplitude unity, frequency f2 and offset a2. We now form the product x(t)=u(t)v(t), (3) and select a delay/advance time δ to construct the function y(t)=x(t+δ). 2.1. Effect of a nonzero offset Here we investigate the effect of a nonzero offset in the sine or the square wave. First consider the sine wave u(t) as before with no offset (a1=0) but the square wave with an offset a2=u22120.25. In other words, we use u(t) as given by Eq. 5, but Eq. 6 is replaced with v(t)=u22120.25+sin(2π.3000t)/|sin(2π.3000t)|. (8) These functions together with those given by Eq. 3 and Eq. 7 are evaluated over the time interval [0, 1.5] at 500 numpoints. The result is the pattern depicted in Fig. 2. From a comparison of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 it is apparent that Fig. 2 possesses a similar structure as Fig. 1 around its center but the presence of an offset in the square wave has led to significant deformation in Fig. 2 from the outer periphery inward. As the offset a2 is increased through negative values, the pattern continues to lose its central structure and in the limiting case a2=u22121, i.e., when the magnitude of the negative offset equals the amplitude of the square wave, the inner structure around the center is completely lost and the twelve limbs intersect in a single point at the center. We now consider an offset whose magnitude is larger than the amplitude of the square wave. Fig. 3 portrays the scenario for a2=u22122. Observe the emergence of a clear region around the center. If the offset is increased through large negative values, the central clear region tends to increase in size and the resulting pattern tends to approach a circle with no internal structure when the magnitude of the offset is very large. Acne vulgaris (commonly called acne) is a skin disease caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units (skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland). Severe acne is inflammatory, but acne can also manifest in noninflammatory forms.[1] Acne lesions are commonly referred to as pimples, spots, zits, or bacne.Acne is most common during adolescence, affecting more than 85% of teenagers, and frequently continues into adulthood. [2] For most people, acne diminishes over time and tends to disappear—or at the very least decrease—after one reaches his or her early twenties. There is, however, no way to predict how long it will take to disappear entirely, and some individuals will continue to suffer well into their thirties, forties and beyond.[3]The face and upper neck are the most commonly affected, but the chest, back and shoulders may have acne as well. The upper arms can also have acne, but lesions found there are often keratosis pilaris, not acne. Typical acne lesions are comedones, inflammatory papules, pustules and nodules. Some of the large nodules were previously called "cysts" and the term nodulocystic has been used to describe severe cases of inflammatory acne. [4]Aside from scarring, its main effects are psychological, such as reduced self-esteem[5] and, according to at least one study, depression or suicide.[6] Acne usually appears during adolescence, when people already tend to be most socially insecure. Early and aggressive treatment is therefore advocated by some to lessen the overall impact to individuals.[5]The root cause of why some people get acne and some do not is not fully known. It is known to be partly hereditary. Several factors are known to be linked to acne:Family/Genetic history. The tendency to develop acne runs in families. For example, school-age boys with acne often have other members in their family with acne as well. A family history of acne is associated with an earlier occurrence of acne and an increased number of retentional acne lesions. [11] Hormonal activity, such as menstrual cycles and puberty. During puberty, an increase in male sex hormones called androgens cause the glands to get larger and make more sebum. [12] Inflammation, skin irritation or scratching of any sort will activate inflammation. Anti-inflammatories are known to improve acne[citation needed]. Stress, through increased output of hormones from the adrenal (stress) glands, although modern tests have said otherwise and point to this not being a cause[citation needed]. Hyperactive sebaceous glands, secondary to the three hormone sources above. Accumulation of dead skin cells[citation needed]. Bacteria in the pores. Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) is the anaerobic bacterium that causes acne. In-vitro resistance of P. acnes to commonly used antibiotics has been increasing. [13] Use of anabolic steroids[citation needed]. Any medication containing lithium, barbiturates or androgens.[citation needed] Exposure to certain chemical compounds. Chloracne is particularly linked to toxic exposure to dioxins, namely Chlorinated dioxins[citation needed]. Exposure to halogens. Halogen acne is linked to exposure to halogens (e.g. iodides, chlorides, bromides, fluorides)[citation needed]. Chronic use of amphetamines. [14] Several hormones have been linked to acne: the androgens testosterone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), as well as insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-I). In addition, acne-prone skin has been shown to be insulin resistant[citation needed].Development of acne vulgaris in later years is uncommon, although this is the age group for Rosacea which may have similar appearances. True acne vulgaris in adult women may be a feature of an underlying condition such as pregnancy and disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome or the rare Cushing"s syndrome. Menopause-associated acne occurs as production of the natural anti-acne ovarian hormone estradiol fails at menopause. The lack of estradiol also causes thinning hair, hot flashes, thin skin, wrinkles, vaginal dryness, and predisposes to osteopenia and osteoporosis as well as triggering acne (known as acne climacterica in this situation).

When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting on the airfield. Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House. While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel.
