similar是 相似的 的意思。familiar才是 熟悉的 的意思。sb is familiar with sth 对某物比较熟悉/ sth is familiar to sb 某物为某人所熟悉be similar to/with 的意思没有区别，区别是：be similar to后边既可以加物主代词又可以加人，be similar to sth/sb be similar with后边只可以加人 ，即be similar with sb 例如： My problems are similar to yours. 我的问题与你的类似。 Wasps look similar to bees. 黄蜂看上去很像蜜蜂。I have no similar with Tom. 汤姆和我毫无共同之处. 还有一个不同就是be similar to后边可以跟从句，而be similar with不可以
